I think our exora headlamp lens is made with plastic material... did anyone has done headlamp tint to avoid it becoming yellowish in the long run and how much is the cost ?

how to know what the optimum 17" rims weight to prevent from high FC and low gear dragging??
I heard people say try to go to Klang for better rims selection? any one have any idea where's the shop/area to look for??? i usually 'usha' the rims at tyres shops while doing alignment & balancing..but most of the rims from taiwan...huhhhuu...heard japan rims much better but hard to find nowadays..kindly advise...

Normally only Japan rims is the lightest right ?

On the matter of anti-stone chip wrapping, I plan to do it. My Wira drove many years w/o seeing chipping but my myvi's engine hood got billions of chips! Not sure if it is due to poor quality paint or not as the hood was repainted after some idiot lorry driver backed into my car. only the hood got chip, the bumper, the top sides do not show any chipping.

So, to be safe than sorry, plan to get some protection for my EBP. But never heard of this antistone chip wrap before. Is it some sort of coating/invisible paint? Do it at body shops? What is the ball park cost? Dont want to kena chop when I go asking so rather than sounding like a total nube and water fish, hope to get some feedback from you guys.

Also, is there any storage space for coins? Plus any storage large enough to hold a smart tag on the driver side? I cant seem to find any of the two. The glove box and the compartment above it are spacious enough for CDs and other stuff but the little cut-out space near the driver's side aircon vent is only wide enough for a touch-n-go card but not the smart tag.

my worry with half cut car is...the rims condition? bengkok or bengkak..won't know..unless do balancing..but normally, half cut car plant don't have balancing machine right?

1) just replace pair of disk brakes.... under warranty due to deep scratches and screeching sound
2) replace valve/OWV.... under warranty ...due to jerking and engine dies....

just asking for anyone point of view...

Yeah, I guessed so too. I got a shock when the man told me his Exora Bold did 230km/h. I was like "Ohh, ok.". In my mind, I too think it will probably go up to 200km/h. Even at 190km/h I think it would be already stressing the engine to touch 200km/h.

ooohhhh... I think I know what you are referring to. I've seen it on other cars before, all of them black color, some with textured stripe pattern. I thought that one is just for show only.

Sounds expensive! If cost that much I might as well take my chances and repaint the hood if chipping occurs.

Btw, zakinawi, you still maintained the mod you did to your engine right? how is fuel consumption for long distance travel? I think at current stage, my EBP should be able to travel slightly more than 600km on one tangki, long distance drive.

sifus, just want to ask is it worth it to install strut bar and anti-roll bar in our Exora?

it doesnt have strut bar,but it does have anti roll bar,front n rear. i wont recommend it for certain reason. but its up to you.

Hi All, my Exora CFE is about 14 months old now. But it had developed the following issues after the 1 year anniversary:
1) Screeching sound (metal grinding sound) when braking at low speed...
2) Today, I discover that water condensation happened in my driver side front lamp...

For issue 1, I reported to the Singapore authorized Service Centre when I send for my 20k servicing. They say no issue (actually I deduce they did not even try to troubleshoot as my Odometer did not register any mileage clocked since I send into the service centre). And they even remind me if want to change brake pad, must pay cuz it is just over the 1 yr mark. Said is wear and tear part... I know that but who need to change brake pads at 20k???

Went to another workshop an when the guy dismantled my brake pad, it is not worn out yet... told him to replace anyway but he couldn't get the parts even after 1 week of trying?!?!? Suggested I send the car into Johor for repair or buy the parts...

Do you think I can get the above issue addressed at a authorized service centre in Johor (e.g. Larkin)? And will the issues be covered as part of the 3 year warranty?
