There is also other possibility that if TORRES is not here we will have a better striker, which we might be BPL champion and UCL champion instead of 3rd place and EL champion. Not to take away his contribution to the team and also his recent form have been good, and hope his EL final goal will make him more confidence because finally he feel like really contributed and winning a cup instead of as passenger like last year and most of the time at SPAIN team. But base on price tag, he is still far from being a 50m striker and if JM come, i am pretty sure he will be benched, unless he improve further. As i think JM prefer more all rounder striker with BA and LUKAKU a better choice.

Well, i definitely wasn't a big fan of him when he first arrived..i mean at such a huge sum of money, the only thing that hit me was - another Shevchenko?! LoL
but when he scored in the last game of the season against Fulham, well, i can say he definitely is a better player than when he first arrived. Let's hope he'll have a greater and stronger impact in the coming season.

Ex-Italy international Marco Materazzi has revealed it would be his 'dream' to join Jose Mourinho's back-room staff if the Real Madrid boss is named Chelsea manager this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The retired centre-back won the treble at Inter Milan under Mourinho, and is looking for a route into coaching.

Mourinho left Inter for Real Madrid after winning the Champions League in the 2009-10 season, but he's set to leave the Bernabeu this summer after a difficult 12 months.

He's widely expected to leave for Chelsea, the club where he spent three-and-a-half successful years in the mid-2000s, winning the Premier League twice.

And Materazzi would love the opportunity to coach alongside his former-manager.

"I'd love to [be his assistant], it'd be a dream," said Materazzi. "In fact, you could call it an objective. I'd be working with the number one, so what could be better?

"Anyone who speaks ill of Mourinho just does it because of envy. I really liked his style of management, as he made us work a lot with the ball because he knows this sport is football.

"He always seeks success, as well as being an honest man. Honesty is one of the principle values in life, so why shouldn't it be in sport."

Materazzi and Mourinho shared a teary moment after their Champions League triumph against Bayern Munich, after it became clear the 'Special One' was set to leave for Real Madrid.

Mourinho won La Liga last year, but Real Madrid have failed to match their achievements this term. And it's been confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season.

Although speculation has strongly linked him with a return to Chelsea, the appointment is not yet confirmed.

Guys, let's just say if RM is snatch up by PSG or Man City or any other club.
Who would u wan to be our next manager?
Personally I hope to see Jurgen Klopp managing us. I'm sure he can bring the best out of our young players and add more young players plus play some eye catching football. Too bad he already stated that he is committed next season in Dortmund.

Ya, it's old news, but I really like his style of coaching and how his team plays. Unlike Arsenal that plays nice football and don't win things. Dortmund won Bundesliga before, and is now in the CL finals. rclxms.gif

Great game between dortmund and bayern.. bayern deserve the championship. If only dortmund can be a little bit solid at the center at their defense line, they might be able to cause an upset.

Happy for arjen robben. What a fearsome team.. next year pep is at the helm. The prospect to become the 1st ever team to win a back to back cl is bright for bayern.

Pls sign lewandowski!!!!

Neymar signed for Barca. Pity Luiz, he always wanted Neymar play alongside him.
