QUOTE(::MaghuL:: @ May 26 2013, 10:30 AM) Interesting signing. Messi and Neymar. Sounds superb really. But to be honest, I wouldn't pay that much of money for Neymar. He's really not that kind of player who we are looking for. I watched the CL final, and it's really interesting to see how the Germans' high pressing system works. The players are so hardworking and with some team chemistry adding in, they managed to knock out Real, Barca, Arsenal, and United. Our team's main problem is clearly on the midfield. We have a great combat type of player(Ramires), a great AM(Lamp) but we are lack of someone who can dictate the game and calm things down. I am not someone who major football tactics', but I believe the lack of a ball dictator in the midfield is the cause of us conceding so many late goals. Khedira/Modric would be fantastic to be added into our squad. But I can only hope now |

QUOTE(ericling @ May 26 2013, 11:06 AM) Interesting signing. Messi and Neymar. Sounds superb really. very jelly of Schweini and Martinez. But the pair won't suit us as well as in Bayern. I agree, we need a midfielder that can boss the middle the park. Someone who can provide resistance, possession and distribution. But to be honest, I wouldn't pay that much of money for Neymar. Although Bayern are worthy champions, they way Klopp made this team is something special. Any other opponent against that Bayern side would have resulted in a trashing. Great things to come for Klopp and gang. We will be facing Pep's take on Bayern next season and it will be interesting. As long we put on a show and a fight, i will be happy. |

QUOTE(anip94 @ May 26 2013, 04:50 PM) He hasnt been scoring many goal and RAFA rotation policy did not help much either but his touches are still there, he score some fantastic goal for us just like when he is at NEWC and his off the ball movement definitely better than TORRES. I would say both of them still not able to make the striker position their own, if LUKAKU do stay with us next season then it will be an interesting 3 way fight. But i still hope the new manager can decide the first choice striker a soon as possible, else if keep rotating will somehow affect the player form and teamwork. And my thought on RAFA rotation policy, in long term i think is good especially for a team like us which have a lot of youngster as it gives everyone chance to play and develop. But it makes winning the league difficult as too much rotation means fielding weaker team and dropping point in the season, but winning cup is still possible. If we want to win the league, we need to find the best first eleven and make them the core of the team, max 1 or 2 changes for rotation, always have 80% core player in every game so the teamwork and play style will remain same, instead of RAFA 3 to 4 player rotation that end up no teamwork or playing different style and clueless football. |

QUOTE(wintzen @ May 27 2013, 03:45 PM) Yup, I think Loftus-Cheek should be one that we can look forward to...nice game against City. Finally the lads get to rest after a long season! andreas christensen remind me of cavalho..cool and steady..ake is solid..even as LB..but lack of attacking.. blackman..still need more exposure..i believe he more than that.. loftus-cheek..very2 good.. QUOTE(bo0t @ May 27 2013, 04:56 PM) Super Cup ! against Bayern under Pep !! |
