read it somewhere that don't use the installer that came with it, coz it cannot work. instead get the latest xplorer360 from the net.

Yeah I have this Transfer Kit too and yes don't use the drivers that came with Datel's installation CD if you plan on using xplorer360 with the Transfer Kit. If you install the Datel drivers, it won't work with xplorer360. You'll need the special drivers.

However, for the XSATA, this is recognised as a removable drive in My Computer when you plug the usb although you'll still need xplorer360 to cut and paste files between the pc and 360 hdd.

oh, my mistake. i thought it was for XSata.

but for USD39.90 kinda way overpriced. a cheap connector xb360->Sata can be had for only USD5. or also can just open the screw housing the HDD and connect to any available Sata port.
