QUOTE(digilife @ Apr 18 2013, 08:09 AM) care to name an example and the price roughly ? basically 2 Legacy simcards wont help much as they are already using the same Network but if you use one Maxis and one Celcom, it do helps to stablise the connection a bit , best is use one fixed line like one Unifi ( TM ) and one Maxis LTE QUOTE(winyap991 @ Apr 18 2013, 10:19 AM) there is quite a number router support 2 in 1 out with RJ45 connection.however, i dont want so many modem around my house.. that why i prefer a router can plug in 2 usb modem and load balance from there.. maybe planning to get mikrotik and plug my TL3420 to mikrotik and and usb to mikrotik...but still 2 modem involve here |

QUOTE(viper-xs @ Apr 18 2013, 02:58 PM) If I'm not mistaken the above Mikrotik can do dual USB modem. Just plug both USB modem to a USB hub then connect it to the Mikrotik port. More details on implementation haven't research yet. Will try end of this month once I buy the modem from @blacktubi this mikrotik only 1 usb port bro... Or perhaps using a routerboard with 2 USB. Been searching for that in lyn but can't find any so far |

guy,
need opinion here... planning to get a portable router + modem or Mifi modem to use with my legacy... what you think best option? 1. MIFI for LTE damm expensive i cant afford...for MIFI i only can get 21mbps modem roughly around 200+ 2. for portable router + modem, thinking get Asus WL300N3G or Dlink MR3020 + any 21mbps modem/LTE.. 3. USB modem with builtin wife like E355 which is good choice? |

Ask anyone who use it and they would recommend you Which hame?2) For E355 be sure to get one that support 900Mhz but it is very hard to find I using hame a-1 i think this is the name with built in battery but the battery wont last long and wifi strenght abit weak compare to mr3020 i hv before.. Which hame? Any link? Can hame install any wrt firmware? |

QUOTE(garytey @ Jun 3 2013, 03:25 PM) A1 or A100 only good if you need to use data on the go, if you stay permanent location, use wifi router instead. mifi is good if can get LTE and cheap price..and only get A100, cos A1 required an additional usb adapter to convert, and the adapter is so loose that always cause connection disconnected, and A100 last longer, from kl back to jb also can tahan. Better get with mifi with built in modem, more reliable i would say current MIFI LTE cost RM800 which damm expensive compare to router + modem |

QUOTE(digilife @ Jun 3 2013, 05:27 PM) Sincerely, if i were you, brother,I would buy a 760s cause Penang should have LTE by Q4 2013 This MiFi can be used without inserting the battery and you can select which type of connection that you want too. I believe once Maxis LTE reaches Penang JB, 760s will be out of stock by then, money is issue.... not enough money to eat nowdays... no choice have to hold back |
