well compare to your past, this is kind of nothing,.  biggrin.gif

Maxis Ping lately have been good but not DL speed

Anyway, latency is much more important if you are not into DL

But Streamyx Ping is the best , so i believe you have made a wise choice since you dun travel so much.

I use broadband in at least 2 different places daily, home and work, so fixed line is not my cup of tea.

Btw, lately my home desktop is very laggy, what could be the main reasons ?

Any suggestion ?

thanks

Why too bad? You have a lot of money what, at least this is what you claimed. Nothing is impossible with money.
*
A new Mikrotik cost rm350, this particular Used set cost only rm200, someone grabbed it b4 i can COD

I dun have a lot of money ( which you have misconstrue ) but i would use the little money that I have to spend on the stuff that I crazy about, after all when i die i wont get to spend them anymore and we can die any when anytime. Boleland is just not safe like the good old days............

Anyway , enjoy you good speed before Maxis decide to play another prank on us again this Wed evening.

Today i am using Asus RT N16 alone, no MR3420 > Asus RT N16

And WiFi alone is faster than Lan Cable

With Lan Cable only

for those user who have less budget, tplink V1 is still best geek to get ,..

If I use a mr3420 via WiFi only ,my speed here can get abt 3+ Mbps only, AsusWRT latest version is much better.

Anyway DiGi's real Smart Plan offerings are already a joke, allocating half your usage for FB, Twitter & Whatsapp.  And their WBB is now byte for byte more expensive than Maxis (although no time-based restriction for torrents).  I recently moved from DiGi to Maxis (both phone & WBB) for two reasons: Maxis plans are currently more attractive & DiGi's 3G coverage sucks at my home area. (DiGi's EDGE on the other hand is still better than Maxis' EDGE)

If DiGi's LTE is also in the 1800MHz band, then I might be attracted back. Having an actual 30GB plan would also help!

Sorry for the OT.

Surfmore75 was created for the purpose of LTE, the person who signed up should have the required device on a Ready Basis already, either its E392 or a LTE enabled handset.
