I somehow find the cloth in your high key shots spoil the picture. Try to make it look seamless with out any crumples or crop out the bottom.

You can also try to "duplicate" the lights by using light painting method. Move your light source around the subject. I've use this method for my diecast collection, can achieve good results.

The crumples is me just being lazy


Actually I am more curious on where to get good 'lights'?

I am currently using el cheapo Ikea Kvart, they don't sell the standing variant anymore which can fit 15v bulbs.


For 1/6 stuff it is sufficeint, but for 1/4 I have to 'paint' the light to make it look 'aritistic' so the insuffiecient lighting isn't that apparent.

TBH even I go to ikea to find for lights for shooting

You can try the LERSTA floor lamp. http://www.ikea.com/my/en/catalog/products...ng%2Ffloor+lamp

I've seen people using this lamp to shoot products. But you will need to buy the bulb at hardware/lighting shops. At least ones with daylight bulbs (if not mistaken some ard 5500k - 6000k temp). Usually these bulbs have very high wattage. Ikea does not have this type of bulbs.

or otherwise, get any lamps that you can mount daylight bulbs.

PCS Kitana


Mine's a has 2 minor defects. The crotch plate doesn't line-up and one of her foots doesn't slot in well in the hole. Still an asscelent piece to own IMO.


Sad that PCS decided not to make anymore MK9 statues, I was really hoping on owning a 1/4 Jade.

Here's hoping the Klassic line has a MK2 Kitana down the road.
