'Sup.

I am a toy collector.
My collection have grown till such a filthy size I think the time is now to whore it out to the internet.

Tools: Ikea Lamps x 2 + Canon EOS 5D Mark III + RM8 per meter black curtain

Kindly give comments and input. I would very like to increase my toy whoring skills.

***UPDATE***

I decided to get serious and invest heavily ('bout RM100) on lighting equipments so I can whore out my collection to strangers on the internet.
My current setup looks like this now

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Also I have deleted most of the pics and will writing simple annotations to each individual statues to better explain why it is awesome and shameful to own.

AND SO IT BEGINS (again!)~~~

p.s
@ goldfries
Thanks for the advice! Now go suck a duck.

p.s.s
The uck part of duck is pronounce as 'ick'

Sideshow Collectibles Ms. Marvel Premium Format

You'll probably never recognize her if there is any movie adaption of her character, as Marvel has went and redesigned all their ladies to wear proper jumpsuits instead of swimsuits.

To most people the ass on this statue was actually the selling point for it, personally I find the portrait the best feature.

Sideshow Collectibles Spider Woman Premium Format

Again, ass being the selling point.
I bought this piece 'cause there was a point in time where I thought it would be really cool to own all lady statues Sideshow makes... I am still trying to live this dream lulz

I actually used to own a bustier version of her. Sold it off 'cause bubble boobs is soooo 90s.

Sideshow Collectibles Storm Premium Format

A lot of debate goin' back and forth regarding this piece, why they chose 70s cut-away swimsuit instead of more iconic Storm outfits (80s mohawk, 90s Jim Lee, modern etc.)

Again, this was a result of my pre-ordering binge...

Sideshow Collectibles The Joker Format

I normally only collect teh wimmenz statue 'cause I find it manageable (compare to anime statues, western statues output ratio of men to women is like 20:1)

Joker is the exception.

This mother 'effer was the first out of the door when Sideshow announce they acquired the DC license.

And it shows.
Just look at that geometry of his 'effed up face.

For such a long time, Sideshow never brought their "A" game to the 1/4 collectibles scene, to see them man-up and go all out makes statue collecting exciting again.

Jean Grey during her 'bad girl' phase, 'cause TITS!
Adam Hughes is really an honest to god boobs man, thats why her rear end is so underdeveloped.

This is my pokemon. I can't stop collecting this little 1/6 pieces designed by Shunya Yamashita who draws what many consider to be anime 'fat girls'.

Kotobukiya Bishojo Marvel - Elektra

My pet peeve of shooting anime pics, most of them don't have enough geometry of the face, so they look noseless.

But dem curves dem finnnnnne.

harsh lighting only works on a couple of pics.

try to soften the light using softbox/bounce light

imo, it shouln't differ too much from studio portraiture

u using auto wb? exposure setting?

may consider using manual WB and manual exposure setting, the color and reflection from toy can fooled camera to give improper exposure and wb outcome

you have a nice collection of toys but a bad collection of toy photos.

your camera is not the problem, your toy is.

better if you could spend a bit on some dedicated flash units and do a proper setup for the toys.
