New m43 user here. Just got my Panasonic GX1 yesterday and working on getting the lenses now Long time (D)SLR and I would say m43 are cheaper on the long run. Lets not just talk about the lenses but the capacity needed to store them safely and also the extensive care you need if you have expensive tele primes like I do. Though a 35-100mm f/2.8 cost you around RM3600 but at least it is RM4500 cheaper than Nikon 70-200mm VR II AF-S. I have tested that lens yesterday and it feels and handles like my Nikon 80-200mm AF-S with a smaller price tag. Not to mention you save lots in the storage investment too. I had like RM6000 worth of cases just to lug my gears around but with m43, all I have to get is Think Tank Mirrorless Mover that cost you below RM500. In the long run in term of investment, m43 are the most cost saving and have nearly a complete range of lenses. Though I am still dreaming only if they would come out a 200mm f/4 prime tele, I would be a happier person

QUOTE(NISMOgan @ May 17 2013, 03:56 PM) Maybe you should check out Olympus premium four third line of long primes? Maybe you've noted these already, ignore me if yes http://www.four-thirds.org/en/fourthirds/lense.htmlGood reminder! I still love how cute the Oly 150mm looks but down side is the MMF2 adapters doesnt support AF for the lens. Maybe I am wrong but that is what I was told about. Still, hope I can get use to m43 after years in full frame. hehe..

One of my inspiration source is this : http://micromotorsport.wordpress.com/I take motorsports mostly and some events thrown here and there and as days goes by, I start to find that a smaller camera body will do wonders and lighten up my carriage weight as well as be more "concealed". I even started to see a few press shooters on mirrorless doing motorsports got me to initiate my research about it. That is how I got myself in love with GX1, for its size and no-nonsense button placement and mode changes. Pricing isn't a concern as long as you know what to buy and what not to buy
