Guys, as there are newer model E5 m2, E10 and E1 released, i plan to upgrade my EPL-5 to E5, is it a good move? Or should i save more to go for E10? E1 and E5 m2 is seriously out of budget.
Em10 has a better autofocus, WIFI and sensor. While em5 is weather sealed and has better IS.
If you are looking for used em10, I have one in mint condition to let go
It's interesting to see how micro 4/3 primes perform @dxomark as attached below, look at how our beloved panasonic 20mm are positioned. Way way up there near the king of micro 4/3 primes, the Olympus 75mm f1.8. I have 2 hearts about ditching the 20mm now [attachmentid=4388980]

I prefer the Olympus colors over the Sony, but man the EVF is sweet.. and everything in such a small package. Touch to focus is missing on the RX100 cause no touch screen... One of the features that I use.
thanks a lot yeap on tripod as it's very dark that time.
People always praise about olympus jpeg colors but I never use jpeg before as I shoot RAW all of the time ( kinda feel guilty haha )
@bobds78 , ah yes, church functions. i'm kinda like the church photographer, where every event if i'm attending, i have to bring my camera to snap some photos.
@minizian , that's what I believe too! yes, I've watched some videos from DigitalRev, pro photographer with cheap camera, and they still come out with great photos.

I'm trying to get back to basics, not carrying too many lens with me, and try to focus on capturing the subject and composition. So few weeks ago, I went to Sekinchan with my gf and her furry babies, mainly to get some photos of her and her pets, and shot some video too.
All shot with EM-5 and 12-50 kit lens.

There you go. What a difference. There's nothing free about it, you paid for it mind you. Look at the Em1 body only price, it's higher than One Stop. Why? Look at the Total Free Gift, there's a 17/2.8 + a battery yo! Unless you are happy with all the FREE GIFTS
Thanks for pointing out
okay la for the em1 deal, for around rm600 you get a lens and battery. for the kit also for rm1k extra you get battery grip+extra battery+45mm f1.8. I would say super good deal compared to the "ekhem canon" ads.
Honestly speaking i not sure if i shd be buying the grip or not....
if you are getting em10, unless you are using pancakes, get a grip would really help. previously when I am still using em10 the grip is just especially with heavier lenses.
u should have come find me before la. i would have traded my d7000 with u for em10
hehehe i got remaining cash after buying my d7000 from my em10 money

EM10 no good?
not really not good since I am using it with the 12-40 pro previously, but I don't feel comfortable with the camera because of the size and grip design, also I find the buttons a little delayed so it's pretty annoying. and again lens prices are still not comparable to dslr.
not sure if it's my unit only, but lets say if i assign one of fn button on the top for the ISO/ White balance selections, I have to wait around half second or so every time I hit it until the menu shows up. also I wonder if the writing speed of the camera isn't that fast since there's quite a bit of lag between shooting a RAW shot and previewing it instantly compared to my dslrs.
