for the upcoming MH3U, i will be somewhere else where's no wifi zone, so i planned to use my usb broadband to connect to the internet. currently, i tried creating hotspot using connectify but failed. and i dont hv any smartphone to tether my brodben.

are there any other ways to connect my 3ds to usb broadband like using usb connector or using any working software like connectify? (rather it's free) smile.gif

Well, you can also consider one of those MiFi "pebbles". One of those Huawei HSDPA MiFi device should do the trick nicely.

Well, tbh I don't have a 3DS. But my belief is that the reason Connectify fail is because 3DS doesn't support Ad-Hoc WiFi mode (Scan the network with another laptop running XP or 7. If the network scan shows that it's Ad-Hoc then you know why). Most wireless chipsets cannot support Hotspot (AP) mode. However most MiFi Pebbles and 3/4G dongle supported wireless routers should present an AP network and not an Ad-Hoc one.

3ds can connected to internet via connectify
my 3rd 3ds were connected to connectify since my uni wi-fi got device limit... wink.gif
i guess the problem why connectify failed in the first place because the wireless device ain't supported in the first place

I was able to connect to my DSi XL using connectify before. 3DS believe should be no problem although I haven't tested it myself.

Try setting connectify to WPA2 for the sharing mode
