QUOTE(chaukeng @ Sep 21 2013, 09:28 PM) Temple run should not be a problem. I've seen minion rush on K900 and note 2, and both suffers certain degree of jerkiness. Its extremely playable but the graphics won't look as smooth as let's say on an ipad mini. u cant expect to have the best of everything. the ipad mini have its pros and cons. When its smooth in everyday use including gaming everything else have tons of limitation.Note 2 is around RM1500+. Not really sure. From a person using note 2 the jerkiness is not really noticeable. So it depends on user if the person prefer limitation and have an ambition to full time play game iOS the best. If you plan to work with more flexibility and control over your phone android is your choice. |

QUOTE(mdnurman @ Feb 16 2014, 07:20 PM) My galaxy note 1 sent for repair. No phone for 5 weeks. Need to buy a smartphone but not expensive Can consider note 2 2nd hand about 1k or less that seems a better upgrade of your note 1Brand: reliable and well known. No CSL etc Spec: good camera, need to be online for email, fb and whatsapp, enough storage and expandable, screen 4 inch and above, got gps, nee (not used) OS: prefer android Budget: 600-800 only If galaxy note back to life, will sell this phone. If the galaxy note or replacement is lawya/not good, will continue with this new phone. Have survey galaxy core, ace3, trend, xperia m, xperia L... Any others better? |

QUOTE(kruzae @ Feb 22 2014, 01:00 PM) 1. Brand. for me i come from note 2 and i can tell you is note 3 is certainly worthy it.Samsung 2. Budget. Max rm2100 3. Specs. At least enough for daily browsing (i open many tabs) and watching videos. Games not so much but enough to play clash of clan, FF3/4, etc 4. Type/Size. (Candybar, Clamshell etc...) Phablet a must. Cannot go lower than 5" anymore Thinking of buying a new phone. Currently considering these 3 phones 1. Mega 6.3 2. Note 3 3. Note 2 Actually i lost my note 2 last 3 month (miss it so much!) and now i had save enough money to buy note 3, but reconsidering because i saw my friend using mega and the performance almost same as note 2, and heck that screen is beautiful! Even the build quality is also not that bad, and feels good in my hand. Search for reviews and found a lot of positive feedback. But i'm thinking if i'm considering mega, why not just buy my old phone note 2 because the price is almost the same? I love the phone so much and enough to satisfied my needs, plus the developers support is very good. So all of these are holding me back from buying note 3. At first I love it because of the beautiful screen, design and good resale value. But I'm afraid the performance increase is not so noticeable because i'm coming from note 2, so why pay so much money for it? So should i buy the note 2 and keep the extra money or the mega with it extra real screen estate? Or just go with the note 3? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! The biggest question you need to ask yourself do you need the s-pen? If yes u wont regret. If you compare with mega 6.3 means u are not fully utilizing the s-pen. |

QUOTE(sunnychai99 @ Mar 26 2014, 07:04 PM) Good camera only samsung .. Samsung has the worse camera in the market. The only best choice he have is Nokia if nokia is top of the priority. As long as the phone have carl zeiss lens written on it you get amazing quality without dont expect much.if higher spec with low price will be normal camera .. Lenovo ? Oppo ? Acatel ?? For Nokia u can have Nokia 808 Pureview Nokia Lumia 920 Nokia Lumia 900 there a reason why its certified with carl zeiss lens and others do not. QUOTE(yamasce @ Mar 30 2014, 11:12 PM) i heard many ppl said note 3 wont lag/hang alot compared to S series or its predecessors but it is slightly too big for me...some ppl also recommended lenovo and htc if dowan b haunted with the issues..i dun install many apps in my current unit..onli those important ones...i seldom install games..after uninstall some apps it still lags/hangs quite often..sometimes will restart by itself but this is very rare.. i am a note 3 user on kit kat its butter smooth like hell.Note 3 is different league all together so it depends what you want. Here a summary The spen features take your entire experience to the next level for now as a phablet. Dont believe me ask the users with the phone models you specify to just do what note 3 can in stock. Note 3 can replace a small notebook and better. Notepad after u write u cant share or send to someone Note 3 u can just email , share or print from your phone. Another biggest advantage of note 3 after you write in text format you can copy and paste the text you wrote to else where. You can screenshot the and draw on it and later share Handwriting recognition using s-pen The best bonus now on note 3 we call it scrapbook you can crop things out of a photo to save and can be used later You can also saved website and also track back the source. You can also sketch graphs and presentation with the templates inside. If u done your research sufficient you will know the note 3 touch screen is something very unique it uses Digitizer Pens The difference between a Capacitive Stylus and a Wacom Active Digitizer: Active Digitizer: (note series) - Fluid Ink and Multitouch Support without needing to switch tools - 256-1024 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity, acts like a real pen - Palm Rejection, allowing you to rest your palm on the screen - Stylus is a precision pointing device when using as a mouse Capacitive Stylus: - No Palm Rejection so requires Palm Hovering (the machine does not differentiate between Stylus, Finger or Palm) - No Inking plus Multitouch Scrolling, as you need to select the Ink Tool with a Capacitive Stylus, Active Digitizer understands that the Pen is there to ink in Ink Aware Apps (OneNote, etc.) - Inking is never going to be fluid (you can get good results with practice) so u understand why the note series is unique in its own way and its one of a kind functionalities It also tells u if u forgotten to plug your s-pen back and walk away. The screen can detect your spen cursor without touching the screen you can even scroll down and up without touching the screen but just hover above end of that page. Must also add that Note 3 is the currently the only phone in the market with the Envelope Tracking chip. In short, low signal strength has much less impact on your battery life. Beside keep comparing build quality and processor The last i heard AP note 3 can get for about 1.7k This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Mar 31 2014, 07:41 AM |

QUOTE(ck.chunkeat @ Mar 31 2014, 07:53 AM) nexus 5 might be your best bet. How can u compare iphone smooth with android.nexus 5's biggest advantage is that it's cheap, smooth and its a nexus. As for phone size, not sure about your hand size but for me, once i go big, i never go back. Having nexus 5 as my first nexus and first 5" screen smart phone, i think it is the best 1.5k spent on a phone ( i got it 1 week after it is released). When i use iphones or my old 4.3" sony xperia arc, i feel that they were too small.. Not to mention its smoothness is something i never see before on any androids..I honestly think it is comparable to ios smoothness or maybe even better. The reason nexus is fast because no bloatware. So u got more ram while iOS it put certain app on hold when u are using while android doesn't eventually you still need to restart an android |

QUOTE(yamasce @ Mar 31 2014, 03:06 PM) bro are there any other smaller sized hp u can recommend? i know note 3 is good but too big for me..im looking for other brands which are able to give a smooth android experience and good camera.. Nexus 5 is the best but the cons are as followsi have narrowed down a few models but unsure which 1 will be the better choice..any advice? Google Nexus 5 LG G2 Sony Xperia Z1 Compact Average battery life, average camera performance and no expandable storage if you can live with it. Here some sample taken by samsung galaxy note 3 shot by me. Have you tried note 3 if not I suggest you go try it most people tried it will get addicted to the big screen. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Taken by samsung note 3 This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Mar 31 2014, 04:01 PM |
