for me note 2 is still my choice

for me i got the android just because of the s-pen.

Go for seminar i write it down. Ammendement use s-pen to draw then sent

daily s-planner to write what i been doing. Draft letter on the spot send back office

for me the form factor just nice. Its having both world in your hand.

android announcement nothing amazing.

If iphone i might want to see.

S-pen only not because android.

you want smooth at least need to have jelly bean and quad core to have smooth experience for android

For windows phone make sure the ram is 512MB and above.

256MB is laggy

android been using VOIP alot its stable make sure at least OS with Jelly bean

Windows phone VOIP still not stable.

You want the best quality wait for Nokia 1020 capable to make HTC One so called ultrapixel a joke or laughing stalk. Btw you dont really need 1020 to pawn HTC One even Nokia N8 4 years ago 12MP able to make HTC One A joke already.

u cant expect to have the best of everything. the ipad mini have its pros and cons. When its smooth in everyday use including gaming everything else have tons of limitation.

From a person using note 2 the jerkiness is not really noticeable. So it depends on user if the person prefer limitation and have an ambition to full time play game iOS the best. If you plan to work with more flexibility and control over your phone android is your choice.

Can consider note 2 2nd hand about 1k or less that seems a better upgrade of your note 1

for me i come from note 2 and i can tell you is note 3 is certainly worthy it.

The biggest question you need to ask yourself do you need the s-pen? If yes u wont regret. If you compare with mega 6.3 means u are not fully utilizing the s-pen.

from your specs Sony Z1 seems to be a better choice.

But if u are into s-pen refer the video above why note 3 is better than the rest

Samsung has the worse camera in the market. The only best choice he have is Nokia if nokia is top of the priority. As long as the phone have carl zeiss lens written on it you get amazing quality without dont expect much.

For Nokia u can have Nokia 808 Pureview
Nokia Lumia 920
Nokia Lumia 900

there a reason why its certified with carl zeiss lens and others do not.

i am a note 3 user on kit kat its butter smooth like hell.

Note 3 is different league all together so it depends what you want. Here a summary

The spen features take your entire experience to the next level for now as a phablet. Dont believe me ask the users with the phone models you specify to just do what note 3 can in stock.

Note 3 can replace a small notebook and better.

Notepad after u write u cant share or send to someone
Note 3 u can just email , share or print from your phone.

Another biggest advantage of note 3 after you write in text format you can copy and paste the text you wrote to else where.

You can screenshot the and draw on it and later share

Handwriting recognition using s-pen

The best bonus now on note 3 we call it scrapbook you can crop things out of a photo to save and can be used later

You can also saved website and also track back the source.

You can also sketch graphs and presentation with the templates inside.



If u done your research sufficient you will know the note 3 touch screen is something very unique it uses Digitizer Pens

The difference between a Capacitive Stylus and a Wacom Active Digitizer:

Active Digitizer: (note series)
- Fluid Ink and Multitouch Support without needing to switch tools
- 256-1024 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity, acts like a real pen
- Palm Rejection, allowing you to rest your palm on the screen
- Stylus is a precision pointing device when using as a mouse

Capacitive Stylus:
- No Palm Rejection so requires Palm Hovering (the machine does not differentiate between Stylus, Finger or Palm)

How can u compare iphone smooth with android.
The reason nexus is fast because no bloatware. So u got more ram while iOS it put certain app on hold when u are using while android doesn't eventually you still need to restart an android

Nexus 5 is the best but the cons are as follows
Average battery life, average camera performance and no expandable storage if you can live with it.

Here some sample taken by samsung galaxy note 3 shot by me. Have you tried note 3 if not I suggest you go try it most people tried it will get addicted to the big screen.
