i know note 3 is very good but again too large for me..if there is a note 3 mini/compact i will definitely buy it..rite now the choices are with nexus 5, G2, htc one (M7) and z1 compact...im ok wiithout memory slot..average batt life works fine for me..i was tempted to get htc one but its camera is such a big let down..comparing to nexus 5 i bet htc one camera performance lose hands down..but wat do u guys think?shud i go for htc one despite the lousy camera? the newer version which is M8 is too large for me so im ditching it

How can I not compare android's smoothness with iphone?
Before this, iphone's smooth ui is miles ahead of android where android is literally a lagdroid and you really can't compare android with ios.
But now android has improved to the extend that I dare to say it is comparable to ios' smoothness.

And i dont get what you mean when you say more ram/ app on hold etc.

I respect your opinion, however there are cases in the nexus forum where people use nexus 5 as the first android and they themselves coming from iphone 5. They were very happy with the nexus 5. Even my 2 bros who were iphone user switched to nexus 5 after playing with my phone. So i guess it is subjective to each individual which os they like.

And i understand the lag part for previous android version as i've been using android since 2011. But my nexus 5 didnt really face that issue so far.

I don't really understand your second point though. From what I know, android's "multitasking" is better than ios's "multitasking". As seen in recent flagships, two apps can usually be open at once eventhough the choice of apps available might not be much. and this is a different case with the smoothness issue.
