Well, actually previously thought of getting an smartphone(touchscreen) for my mom but it would be a waste if end up she doesnt know to full use of it.
Now she still using conventional T9 button type like those Nokia 3310 generation(but got color and camera). So now thought of getting Nokia Asha type for her.

Any recommendation for Asha phone or others?

2. Budget. 1.5k - 2k
3. Specs: 1gb - 2gb ram, durable and waterproof

I am actually looking at Xperia ZR and S4 active at the moment. But sadly i guess both not in malaysia yet. Iphone 5 with lifeproof also sounds good, but i dont quite like the idea of using an Iphone. This is just self preferance.

sorry if you are seeing this as a SPAM... but i did not intend to spam, and thus the apology...

however, the reason in me posting in both forums is because

1) i like android very much.
2) i still would like to know if there is any other phones besides androids which might fit in the criteria such as windows phones and perhaps some unknown OS which is not really known

so, again, sorry if this seems like a spam, i just want to keep my options open.

I'm planning to buy a Alcatel One Touch Star tomorrow. This will be my very first time owning a smartphone.

I wanna change my HP to S4, currently using Hotlink Prepaid. Buy S4 from Samsung Dealer than go to Maxis change plan to Postpaid or go direct go to Maxis and buy S4 from them (contract some more). Which is more save?

windows phone is good, but lack of apps
just get an android phone will do

off course sign plan from maxis is better, but you need to tied with them at least 1 year contract
