Trying to get a phone to replace my iPhone 5

Brand - Any except Lenovo
Spec : good camera , with good performance
Budget : 800-1.5k
What I have in mind : Honor 7 & MeiZu Mx5

Additional Question :
1-Where can i find a store to hands on meizu phone ?
2-I saw Vivo Y27 (older model - MYR800) looks good .. Any opinion ?
3-It seems Oppo and Vivo not favor by all the sensei here , Mi is receiving good response , MeiZu in market is not quite well known , but everyone in here heard of it .. Any particular reason ?

Thanks thanks

Meizu MX5 is better than the Honor 7. Another phone that is quite comparable with the MX5 is the Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML, 4 GB variant).

1. Not sure if there's one, but chances are that there aren't one.
2. Not even close there compared to the ones above.
3. Well Vivo and Oppo is only recommended if you're into photos and style. For the other one, I am not too sure about it.

I am choosing between Zenfone 5 (LTE) vs Zenfone Go (HSPA)

So my main concern is actually the LTE vs HSPA.
I am using Celcom basic plan, do you guys think I will really notice huge difference on internet speed?
I am not even sure how's LTE coverage in Malaysia right now. I am currently stationed in Penang.

Well, other thing is, it will be either 2nd-hand Zenfone 5 LTE or first-hand Zenfone Go.

I guess you have LTE there, so go with the LTE variant of the Zenfone 5 if you aren't worried about having an outdated CPU.

speaking of CPU, how big of a difference will there be between dual-core 1.6Ghz (Zenfone 5) and quad-core 1.2Ghz (Zenfone Go)?
I don't really play games on my phone btw.

You mean Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 on the LTE version of the Zenfone 5? Alright, since you want to know how does MT6580 fares with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and Intel Atom Z2560, I think I can explain a little bit. All three is designed based on the A7 architecture: far outdated compared to A53. Which also mean all of them employs 32-bit, also outdated. Speaking of multi-core performance, I think the Snapdragon 400 is in par with MT6580. The Atom Z2560 is not too far behind, but not too comparable though.
