Hi, I asked for a recommendation last year but never got myself to buy a new smartphone. Now my new job requires such a device, for using what's app, showing clients info with easy access of apps and internet. But would a tablet be a better choice?

Am currently using moto g 1st gen, looking for similar spec or higher phone. Ideally 5 inch screen, fd or fhd screen resolution, snapdragon 615 or higher, decent camera, min built in 16gb, consistent update from manufacturer, and most important price range below rm1k or slight higher is acceptable.

QUOTE(Velocity @ Aug 30 2015, 11:52 AM) yeap totally no lag at all. It makes samsung phones a joke and its only RM1099 with dual sim I'm thinking of getting that phone too, recently saw the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual, and the screen and camera looks really good but it's using a 1.7GHz MTK proc with 2GB RAM only and selling for 1399. I heard the Asus ZenFone 2 has a lot of bloatware, is this true and if yes does it affect performance much? My budget is below RM 1.4k so lookingMake sure you update your phone. There 2 update Zen update and phone software update at these models at the moment. Another recommendation was the One Plus 2 and the Oppo models. I was previously using the Redmi Note 3G, so I am used to a 5.5 inch screen and would like a phone in that size or similar with options of expandable storage and good processing power. |

QUOTE(zedy @ Sep 2 2015, 05:09 PM) DirectD will provide 2 years warranty. About local usage, I'm not really sure either, never bought any chinese phones before.I think it's better to wait a few months first, plus I'm pretty sure the official xiaomi price will be much cheaper compared to this one |

I'm considering to buy a used Samsung Note 4 (good condition + a couple of months of warranty + ori).
The market price looks like about RM1300 - 1500. Any recommendation for other phones that are better / more value for money at the same price or even cheaper? This post has been edited by tagz8: Sep 3 2015, 11:36 AM |
