Guys when is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 going to launch in Malaysia?

DirectD is selling one (prob imported version) for rm749, I think I'll probably just buy that one if it doesn't launch here in the next 1-2 months

DirectD will provide 2 years warranty. About local usage, I'm not really sure either, never bought any chinese phones before.

I think it's better to wait a few months first, plus I'm pretty sure the official xiaomi price will be much cheaper compared to this one

the meizu m2 note have a great camera too
also the asus padfone s 2gb version
also xiaomi's own redmi note 2

It's recommended to wait till official release of the phone by mi Malaysia. Likely to be cheaper and easier to claim warranty

Btw do you know whether or if the X10 processor supports slow motion video? I saw some reviewers on youtube mentioning that slow motion will be coming in MIUI7 update but I don't really put too much hope for a phone with that price tag

well for now you can only buy the imported China version (I have to since I need a new phone urgently). DirectD is selling one at 749 while another Lowyat seller is selling around less than that I believe. Will simply flash the Global ROM once it's out

You can have Redmi Note 2. That would give a good bang to the buck. And also, Leagoo is not a Malaysian brand, it's Chinese.
