You might want to check the current first before charging. Sometimes irregular current will affect your battery

Mine will sometime not charge fully too. I suspect it has to do with heat generated by the
Adaptor bcos if I use a fan to cool the adaptor during charging it will always reach 100%.
Just sharing my experience. I will try to see if Mac city will let me claim under warranty hmm.gif

your battery might be out of sync.

Try using the ipad until it totally run out of juice and shutdown. After it shutdown, plug in to charge and DO NOT interrupt the charge. Let it charge until 100% or overnight.

If still only up to 91% then something is wrong. Else this should fix the battery sync issue.

I believe it is due to the Amp rating on the included charger. It is the same rating as the one for iPhone. iPhone has a much smaller battery.

When I use the charger that comes with normal size ipad (2A rating), it charges all the way.

many had similar problem in the past putting the blame mostly on the adapter itself.
If it's a sealed box, it can't be a wrong charger.
another possibility is to check with the Lighting cable as well. Some claimed replacing the Lightning cable resolves the problem.
Some did a reset and it works as well.
