Continue from your previous thread, x100 is really limiting actually, but since you have a 70d, what do you think of the full-frame 35mm equivalent focal length? If you think you enjoy shooting with a prime of that focal length and have no problem using ONLY that focal length, then x100 will be very good and a joy to use, considering that you can live with its quirks (slow writeup time, slow but improved af)

However, if you're used to zoom lenses or think that 35mm is not your thing, then XM1 would be better, as it can change lenses, and a lot more versatile than the x100, high iso will be better than x100 too due to its using x trans sensor while x100 is still using the old apsc sensor.

I'd say the XE1 is happy with your gf as its owner as it's used to its fullest and served its purpose as a camera
