Woa.. Thats exactly why we should always never keep quiet about bad dive centres and priority should not be to get the cheapest price for certifications. You might get idiot instructors like those in that story or those who cut corners when they teach you. Just pay once for good lessons and you're set to go out and have fun. The 100 ringgit you save might just be the value of your life...

Scuba skills.. Which includes frog kick/modified frog kick. And surprisingly backward kick~

Uuuu good.. I need to works on some of these kicks.. I usually end up using freestyle swim kicks which tires me out a lot..

i wish too... i havent learn well to control buoyancy. 3 dives in single day just too rush..

hehe just came back from Phi Phi.. did 4 dives in 1 day.. Kinda doable.. Just take it easy and dive within your limits and make it count and feel worth it..

blink.gif I also normally swim slowly.. i dun really fin that much also cos I wanna look at things not swim.. haha..

First few dives will feel tired and not that enjoyable.. I just got my license also and did extra dives.

1-2 dives = confined house reef dive. A bit boring cos only got sand but manage to see turtle and seahorse
3-4 dives = opens sea and strong current.. not that relaxed as feel the current and in being tested mode..
5-6 dive = totally enjoyed it even though got strong current.. saw a lot and just went with the flow. relax enjoyable dive..

Dun give up.. go for more dives and slowly u will enjoy it.. normally ur buddy will stick with u so should be fine..
*
I hate current! Hahaha panicks me out.. especially when current makes me swim sideways into the coral.. have to twist and twist to rotate my body to swim another direction.. and I am not that agile out of the water.. even more with the bcd and tank.. haha

im just got PADI certified, so don know how hard to get buddy with stranger.. icon_idea.gif
of cos, you all (master) deserve to be my buddy la.  rclxms.gif

Nah they will assign and worst case scenario u look out for him/her and they will do the same for u and u synchronise hand signals and u plan and discuss prior to trip and thats the extent of your conversation. I dont think there are people out there who will leave u alone there unless u get separated... If they leave u alone, means he/she gets left alone..

Most times I dive I get assigned to mat sallehs who are very professional who only talk to u during the dive and prep.. once at surface interval they go back to their other mat sallehs.. hehe dont worry too much on this.

ya.. need to dive more. as i mentioned earlier, not sure my physical can go dive again as i sinus bleed for my 2nd & 3rd dive. sweat.gif
btw, how fast you guys dive for 18m from surface to bottom?  hmm.gif
*
I take a long time.. haha.. I tend to panick going down.. I am afraid of heights and most times the going down part scares me.. So it takes awhile for me to calm down and stop taking in air... haha

hahaha, imran why u afraid of current?  brows.gif dont twist too much, otherwise become torpedo...  drool.gif
Don't worry about that, we do have same problem as well. you have to take note of your equalizing and also the weight you carry. how's your buoyancy? remember to equalize early, if you having pain some other problem, try to ascent a few feet and try to equalize again, if still the same, stop your dive immediately and ascent... always remember to dive within your limit...

hahaha I hate being out of control.... Cliffs and currents and heights.. I am learning a lot about my limits..
