RM1200 is kinda hard la... espeacially when you need a amp again... if HU and component only then there are many choices...

is it the new saga?? erm, if u r driving the new saga, i think it will look ugly if u cut ur door panel and fit a spk there...cos it's all plastic..

btw, u can look for some sec hand stuff since ur bedget quite low...if u can spare some more, then u actually can get an entry system

nope. new saga lmst came with that el-cheapo plastic. the silver lmss door panel better.

good luck with your ICE setup bro. I had a hard time fixing my lmst with front speakers, but finally managed to find a good shop to do a great job.

the amp is rated 50x4
which i think is enuf for ur Boschmann

btw, i think Genesis Profile 4 to power up ur boschmann is not a good match

drift sifo... can tell me why not good? i definately need something to counter the tweeter la.. too bright liao for me... 50WRMS is definately jus nice for the component... if you fell tht it is not a good match then wut would you suggest?

comgeek85... you are doing jus fine... so next step is to bridge connect the other 2ch to power your sub lo... remember to watch out for the power output and the sub power input... good power matching contributes to good sound...

cheers...

why JBL ?
u got whole lots more choices on ur hand
dun restrain urself just for JBL
go to the shops
ask them for demos icon_idea.gif
i would suggest a/d/s peerless MBquart for entry level components

as i know, Genesis is those dynamic and detail type of amp with high power rating
and ur boschmann is more on the bright side (from my own experience and ur said the tweeter is bright..again)
so i suggest u go for those natural and warm type of amp
if budget allows, u can try Steg which is a very warm amp.. or a/d/s (not the china a/d/s.. the original a/d/s..which i dono the stock is still available or not)
if not my PG is also an okay choice (not to say i wanna sell mine so i praise my own stuff, my amp is not an urgent sale , but it's from my own kacang putih experience laugh.gif pair it up wit stellar last time and give me quite good results )

for SPL i suppose? hehe... but well bro... you get wut you paid for... as every brand has thier entry level, mid-end, and high-end products... so this one has to see how much are you willing to spend... and how far you wanna go...

stat down your budget would be nice... but installing one single brand for the whole car is not recommended for many brand... as a brand tht make good speaker dun gurantee they make good amp and vice versa...

cheers...

JBL? if u are getting old series like 2003 / before i think is okay..for after 2003 product, the quality are not so good already...also the sound..

even nakamichi are decrease in their performance than b4...or maybe there are just too many competitor that having much better technology than them?

When u have the tweeters on, the vocal would be clear automatically, or if u have amplifier installed on, u can tune the clarity from there.

usually for mid to high end players, they do not adjust or mess with the treble, we usually go for FLAT/NATURAL settings to preserve the original sound signal.

shift your JBL component to front ...
then u compare which tweeter performs better ? JBL or Soundstream ...
use the better one and keep away the other brows.gif

How to make it more clear?

Change your muffler to the original Saga muffler. Then can say, very clear...

On another note. I did try using a PG to power my tweeter(running bi-amping concept). But it was too powerful! Hahah... rclxub.gif
