tm promised me last year 2017;

- july will got unifi ppl come - nope
- september service will roll out - nope
- disember latest - nope

f**ked up...thinking to get digi 150 already..
*
But digi sometimes faster than Unifi, sometimes slower than Streamyx.
Currently using DiGi. I can say occasionally experience disconnect just a few minutes.

What to do, Gov very eager to expand, but only 1 player monopolise the major market here. Maxis is still at very limited area, the rest just depend on TM. Meanwhile, our friends in KL, Penang, and Johor there can get 100mbps for RM149 on Time.
*
Normally kampung rural area already cover by this monopolise market.
If use maxis, same it's using TM infrastructure. Nothing different, but only the service.

Oh ya... My side here Siang Siang garden miri already 3 years still masih don't have Unifi, some-more Streamyx pun tak ada... thumbup.gif
Really racist less than 500 meter there those residential got unifi, while my side here don't have..

Really racist to the max.... thumbsup.gif

lulz i live in rural limbang

my housing area all got unifi since Feb

sometime there's some area missed, not in coverage, even in big cities  dry.gif
*
Since Feb this year 2018?
If some area missed, then should be do faster to fully coverage the residential area.

And it just less than 1KM those old residential area got Unifi coverage.
So it should be very easy to continue expand the extend of residential area.

Just continue keep raise up to MCMC until cover the Unifi coverage.

You may hope for Celcom Fibre & SOFIA (in near future) using SACOFA infra which is cheaper than Unifi.
SACOFA has extensive fibre networks across the state but yet to build the last mile connection for existing residential areas.
They are given fund/task to build the fibre connection to the areas not covered by TM.
SACOFA is / will be the monopoly, not TM / Unifi.

Unfortunately, the Celcom Fibre internet plan is quite expensive than Unifi.
And I guess for the available Celcom Fibre, it should be wait for more than 10 years again and currently only available for Sabah coverage.

Called them. Again say will send technicians. So basically the technicians that came last week to the housing area claiming they doing something on the server did not dealt with the problem?

Is it better to file a report to MCMC instead? Near 4 weeks of unreliable connection now.
*
Haha.. Since technicians already mention they do something already on server, but there is no improvement.
You can write to mcmc.. Who know mcmc ppl will come to your place checking.. laugh.gif

low demands; near some area in semeba, sudat, jln bt kawa and some raods in kuching/samarahan
high demands: samarahan housing areas like unigarden, samarax, samarindah

but they instead installed near low demands area, high demands area still nothing. confirmed with TM Bt Lintang itself alasan waiting approval.

Low Demand - Less complain
High Demand - High complain

I guess they purposely do like this. dry.gif

Wao, thanks for your photo.. thumbup.gif
By the way, your technical can allow you to take photo of this box? unsure.gif

But only 8 cables connected to main cable so this one only can support 8 subscribers so 8 ports.
Thanks for the photos. I just found out that the optical splitter is in this white box. I never seen the back part in detail before this.
*
How to see which one is the main cable?
That means the rest of 10 ports cannot do anything?

From the Main Road near the Everwin there all the way till the Taman Tunku Servay, look the left hand side, you will notice the TM poles with Yellow/Black Stripe cable, some of poles even have Unifi Grey Box installed. rclxm9.gif

Oh, then I know already.
If I'm not wrong, there is nearby network tower.

I can predict that they use that network tower pull in to the residential tunku area.

But damn shit, my one also no coverage or no port nearby luak bay (behind previous Da Kiong mosjaya there)
I just wondering why they don't want to pull in the there? Haizz... doh.gif
