maybe this is a part of being a foreigner.
*
only two type of people in sg, rich people and poor people
rich people can straight buy condo, drive to work, they feel at home everything is within reach
poor people rent and stay in hdb and squeeze in train and complain cool2.gif

i look at my ang moh colleague on expat package,
u think beign white he is foreginer cool2.gif
bloody hell he feel more at home than in UK nod.gif
he is not going back to UK and pay high tax whistling.gif

can conclude your aunty is in the P category rolleyes.gif

I really don't mind going to JB every week for a U-turn.
It's just that after the U-turn my MIL face the risk of not able to re-enter SG.
*
the 60/90 day is strict and ltp is not easy to get now, prepare for rejection sweat.gif
mine one still stuck in appeal stage, since u say is your MIL,
the sponsor will be your wife
and your wife income need to be strong, "rumours" u need to have 2.5k for a dependant

basiclly to make your application solid proof, u need to state the reason u need the LTP "child care issue"
u need to provide combine income, a solid letter explaining why u need a LTP
better still some help from MP rolleyes.gif

just check application for PR, the current appoint now been fully book up to Jul doh.gif

It's OK if you can't get used to the SG type. After all taste is a personal thing mah hehe. For me I consider the SG BKT something like eating pork stomach soup (which is clear and peppery even in Malaysia) ... except that I eat ribs instead of stomach. So it's still OK smile.gif

But I still can't accept stuff like the char koay teow, wantan mee, bak chor mee, fried hokkien prawn mee ...

QUOTE(puppyee @ Apr 8 2013, 09:49 PM)
The reception at the clinic I went to, expressed her concern about my different passport number and she said that the government might not approve my pass or might make things difficult for me. I don't have my old passport with me now but I do have a FIN number already. Would that be sufficient when submitting my results or picking up my pass?

I hope you guys know what I'm writing. I'm quite confused myself. lol

thumbup.gif very good
shakehead.gif go and inform the HR, they have the portal to update MOM, it take a day to update the passport no
