Ok, I've downloaded a couple of games but I'm having problem downloading Bioshock and Dirt 2.

AFAIK, some games are still region/console locked. Anyway, I managed to snag Resident Evil 4 last night Too bad today's deals are for CODfag.

really? I thought Malaysia is same region with Singapore. But the price is really cheap, even cheaper when you buy with cheaper MS points

I'm on US account so I'm not really sure about that, and yes, it's cheaper if you have MSP. Too bad I can't buy Dirt 2 for 400MSP because of the locking. Need to wait for tomorrow's sale to see if there's anything interesting.

Easy. Before you open up xbox.com/us, make sure you connect to a VPN first. US VPN. I got my own private vpn but you can try http://www.justfreevpn.com.

Log in xbox.com/us. Go to Sale. Tadaa... 400MSP.

But.... it is 6.4GB I think

If you have an US account, the sale is cheaper. Dirt was $4.99/ 400msp and Rayman Raving Rabbids was $2.99/240msp. LOL I just checked. Tomb Raider SG is $24.90 but US only $4.99!!! Virtual Fighter 5 is $34.90!!!! US is $.99. Haha What a rip off lolol

Could you finish download the game? Last time I do trick like that on Gears 2 DLC, I need to connect to the VPN again for the remaining 1% on the download.

Not really, but most of the time, yes. Black Ops only RM9.30 on Aussie Marketplace but still RM62 on US Marketplace, and Black Ops II barely have discount

still 30%. Rayman survived though. Anyway, I'll let you know later after down downloading.

eh wait.. I'm on 360 asian set, can games downloaded from US marketplace run on it??

ok, I've changed region to US on one of my account, it seems some is cheaper in US and vice versa..

Like in SG Borderland 2 only 1360 msp, while US 2400 msp... and also, did anyone get the SG one? is it downloadable?

Been reading this thread. I have a question. The region locking means ip blocked or just the console. I have both us and Asian region console.

Depends. Some games only region (IP) locked such as Dirt2, so you can still download by using VPN. Some, like Catherine is console locked and there's nothing you can do except owning a console for that region. So if you have both Asian and US consoles, then good for you

Didn't see any Arkham Asylum on sale, but they did have Arkham City.

The option to buy using MSP is not there the last time I tried to buy something. Bought Dirt 2 and as I suspected, it requires VPN to finish the download or it's not usable.

Wait, ip locked or console locked? Am still confused.

I think I've explained in my previous post. Region locked games can still be purchased and downloaded if you're not in the origin country by using VPN. Console lock, need console of the game origin, for example, Catherine for NTSC will require you to have NTSC console to even purchase the game.
