Anyone using the maxi cosi pebble or pebble plus paired with the 2wayfix base?
Saw this online and it seems a bit loose? Or is this the norm for all car seat/base configurations?

Can't understand the languageĀ  sweat.gif

p.s. new to all these stuff, the whole setup looks a tad 'tall' to me, again is this the norm? The pebble supposedly can be switched to the larger maxi cosi pearl... will the whole thing even fit into my crv's back seat?
I'm supposed to isofix this into the middle seat right?

TQ in advance.

Maybe I'm able to answer your questions as I own all Maxi-Cosi 2wayfix base + Pebble Plus + 2WayPearl + Quinny Buzz Xtra to create the "baby carrier system" biggrin.gif

The "loose" part is expected... the ISOFIX and carseat lock is quite basic. There are two metal rod underneath the car seat which will be used to support the locking mechanism on the 2wayfix base. So when docking onto the base, the lock will actually "go around" the metal road to secure lock... so it's alright if it's "loose"...

I'm driving VW Passat and the only seat to adjust is front passenger seat... because 2WayPearl takes up alot of space especially when the car seat is in tilt onto 45degree (or lesser). Tall? Not really... I'm sure it will fit your CRV.

Not middle seat. I don't think there's ISOFIX hook at the center of the seat.

If you stay nearby PJ or Subang area, I don't mind bringing all the car seat and meet you up if you intend to get 1...

Note*: Unfortunately 2WayPearl do not support safety belt system so the only way you can use is to pair with 2WayFix base... That's the disadvantage of the car seat...

I own a maxi cosi baby carrier.

it is a good investment as it can convert to a stroller carrier by using quinny stroller.

and durable as well. been using for 8 months n still using it till today if my baby is sleeping whenever I eat out.

Agree, Maxi-Cosi car seat is very convenience if you pair it with Quinny Stroller... My only regret is I choose Pebble Plus over CabrioFix...

To all the parents who interested in Maxi-Cosi Group0 car seat... Please know your baby preference!!!

Pebble Plus - Safety > Comfort
CabrioFix - Comfort > Safety (Please do not misunderstand, i'm not saying it's not safe)

Basically the space within Pebble Plus (Not sure about Pebble as I do not own one) is quite narrow so if you have a big size baby, he/she might not feel comfortable... My baby cried badly when we put her in Pebble Plus sad.gif Sakit hati ohhh.... Should have gotten CabrioFix to give her some space... So in the end, I did not use my Pebble car seat that much... sweat.gif

Dear all,

Has anyone purchased baby car seat or stroller from US or Europe and shipped to Malaysia? Would like to know the estimated sea shipment charges and any import tax?

Have checked online, seems no import tax, but would like to confirm.

Thank you

There's tax if i'm not mistaken on car seat...

All my Maxi-Cosi car seats (Size 0 & 1) and Quinny stroller were brought back from Europe & US which is much cheaper as compared locally... If you have someone who happen to come back from UK, its better to bring back by hand...
