QUOTE(Mr. Alby @ Mar 20 2013, 11:06 AM)
Ok..another upcoming community bulk thingy....
Based on the list i gather from forummer, here are the things i considered bring in :
Winter Village Cottage 10229
Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965
Creator Pet Shop 10218
Creator Grand Emporium 10211
Monster Fighters Haunted House 10229
Palace Cinema 10232
Arkham Asylum 10937
camper van 10220

Generally, i have the idea of the price for community bulk. Special price are given to recurring forummer who tumpang & buy many stuff... thumbup.gif
Im still not sure the final price, but hopefully its cheaper... tongue.gif

Other than that, i cant go.  tongue.gif

I will reply once i get the finalize price. But expect it to arrive here around June/July. So,..for those who can wait, we should get a cheaper price.

hmm...the price seems ok....
u can just order n let it ship to malaysia (best is u find 2-3 ppl to share shipping)

Eh, i just asking the price on the forum last time... blink.gif
I think you mention around 800 .
I just want to check whether i need to import myself or just buy from seller. My hands just itchy to get some sets and no one want to do that bulk order thingy.. tongue.gif
So..i decided just to do it anyway. And im not in a rush to get those set (so that it gave me ample time to save more money by June/July)..
Dont worry.. with your price, i think plenty of people will buy it at your sales thread.
*
june/july should be good for me too...
need to save money for the next few months nod.gif

Yeah, I saw that in Lelong too and was planning to . The photo do look very nice but am skeptical the real thing is as good as in the picture.

I'm sorry. But this could be the ultimate poison that I've come across. Please don't blame me. Consider yourselves warned.

LEGO - 2013 sets (with RRP USD)

It's nice of them to put total cost breakdown (but in USD) but akso total cost if you get every single 2013 set! Don't know if this is the complete list as I don't think I see modular in it.

2 items caught my eye other than the usual stuff in my wishlist.

Robin with Redbird Cycle (polybag) - strange haven't heard this before or seen leaked pics. Thinking probably same as Captain America bike

BMW 40200 (unknown theme) - more licensed vehicles?
*
damn... this is how much (minimum) that i need to save up/fork out till end of the year....
$349.99
$239.99
$199.99

massive poison indeed... brows.gif

yup...interested in the bmw 40200 one...
wonder what that could be hmm.gif

QUOTE(daydreaming @ Mar 22 2013, 03:04 PM)
bro, i bringing in haunted house. and i can tell u, u cannot convert like that. if u do direct conversion, it means u have to ship urself from US to malaysia. like last time in US, i bought my mill falcon for usd110 only. smile.gif

and if u calculate the box dimension of Haunted House, the shipping weight is around 4-5kg. smile.gif that is why local sellers have to sell at that price range.
*
thanks for pointing that out....
i think u r correct...

the set is around 3kg.
set is around rm600, shipping about rm200 (add insurance n so on)...tax is 10%, so another rm100 (for the processing n so on)
so total = around rm900 cry.gif

QUOTE(manutd1003 @ Mar 22 2013, 03:17 PM)
Hehe... Same here... Wanna try out modular... Haha
*
haha..u also kena poisoned?

my wallet only allow for 1 modular set per year whistling.gif

QUOTE(daydreaming @ Mar 22 2013, 03:34 PM)
hahah, just to share la. normally item weight doesn't matter. is the lego box's volumetric weight. so even if it weighs like 3kg, it could go up to 4kg-5kg for shipping.

insurance is not really much. but tax (item cost + shipping cost), that is the killer. imagine if ur cost is RM 800, tax already RM 80.

that's why its not cheap to bring in and for modular or high end sets, the profit is really very little.
*
i see... correct also...
that's y sometime we must support our local seller... icon_rolleyes.gif
cos they go thru all the hassle n bring in for us.

QUOTE(maxilife1 @ Mar 22 2013, 03:43 PM)
oo ic..ironman poison by alby..heheh
yup i know bro about the shipping cost + insurance + tax..

just wanted to highlight the prices only..not saying we can/should get the set at RM560++ here..

if seller can sell below RM800, its a bargain! but if seller sell >RM800, it should be ok due to above facts n figures..hehe
i have seen review on fire brigade but seems im not liking it..even thought its a must buy due to EOL soon  sweat.gif
im in the same shoes as u..maybe 1 modular per 2 years duration..coz got other themes to focus..hahaha

my wishlist for modular is haunted house, pet shop or Grand Emporium.. tongue.gif
*
meaning if the minimum number for bulk is 5 unit...
i think now is the time to hit it whistling.gif

QUOTE(Chaud @ Mar 22 2013, 03:44 PM)
yup..poison by him...i was planing to get iron man by end of april or may actually, but since he is doing bulk so i have to change my plan on hauling lego laugh.gif
*
we must refer Mr. Alby as "Lego Evangelist" whistling.gif
