Hmmmm.... I doubt that is our customs doing, tearing the envelope. If the package is opened by Kastam Malaysia for visual inspection they will stamp "Inspected by Kastam" or something similar. Usually Kastam don't bother to open up, they just run it through the x-ray scanner. That tape is by Pos Malaysia to secure the package probably tear due to rough handling by the postal workers. I have that problem too once in a while... So far so good, only last week I lost one small part due to this. My first incident.

Just finished the IM3 Malibu attack set. Love the white command centre like building. With all the clear windows, and transparent stickers.

We complained Lego are giving us stickers instead of printed bricks. The copter in this set just came with a red brick for the cockpit. They don't even bother give us a proper cockpit sticker. How the heck they r going to fly it?! 

So i customize with leftover of shell promo stickers

For some reason,  I'm not really into Star Wars although I've seen all the movies. I've been putting off getting the Blu-ray collection even though I'm tempted.

Also almost got the X-Wing cause I kinda like jet fighters. But resisted.

But personally, I think it would be a bad time to get into Star Wars since the universe is so huge and never seems to stop. Now with the next episode already confirmed, eho knows what other characters and ships/fighters will be introduced!

Already so difficult to resist existing themes.

while wife and kids having their naps, I took this golden opportunity to start building my space monorail 6990 set. For today, I finished the monorail track and the space stations. more to come

Nice features of this vintage set:
1. the monorail runs on 9V battery. cool stuff. Long time I never buy 9V boxy battery liao since my last electric toy 
2. one of the station can actually move its blue canopies and plates to become another shape! this I never realized before
3. two switches that controls the direction of the monorail, whether go clockwise/anti-clockwise/stop completely. (haven't tried myself, just by looking at the instruction manual)
3. comes with 4 minifigs with space utility vehicle

mine is a used set , already 20+ years old but luckily no major dents or missing parts. Just the usual discolor of white bricks. I can see why this commands such high price after so many years even I willing to fork out RM600+ for this. I see some brand new sealed one on ebay is asking for RM2000-RM4000 

Maybe alby kor/ ddreaming kor should keep some of their haul to store room and only sell it after 20 years. iron man set for RM2000 maybe? Can recoup all the money in one shot   

Well that's how they get us into buying their DVDs or Blu-Rays lol

Otherwise, sales are going to be low since majority of the people can download now a days.
