Today announcement only saying government will cut tax on cars from these two countries, it does not specify import or excise.

Only tomorrow, we will know what they are going to cut.

Unlikely. They already say cars from Jpn and Aus. Excise duty cannot be selective, Must be blanket tariff

I think excise duty can be reduced in term of incentive. Like the green car and CKDs.
