SG's a glass coating - IMO, no amount of IPA will remove it off. Just perform compounding or polish and it should come off, but there's no way to tell though. Although its glass pretty much any LSP stays on it.

SG on the rims is good stuff, makes cleaning much easier and it beads a fair bit.

that is probably why my colleague is getting a crap ton of watermarks and he wants to get rid of SG laugh.gif

rims, id rather not gamble and go with something more... convincing lol. brows.gif

Got a couple of questions to ask. Where can I get IPA? My understanding is IPA wipedown can remove all the polishing oils and other stuff from the paint which allows the sealant to bind with the paint better?

On clay bar, for soft 99 there is one for light coloured paint and another one for darker coloured paint. Is one more effective than the other? Meguiars has inky. 1 type right? Appreciate any advise.  smile.gif

high purity, consider 1:10 dilution
and yes you're correct

not very sure, never used soft99 dark color clay bar. meguiar has 1 type for consumer, additional 2 types for professional range. ( i just bought the megs pro clay mild version quite recently hehe, made in japan stuff lol)

Was trying out the pressure and OMFG they are loud. (manual wasn't joking when it said over 75db operating noise) http://twitpic.com/d03ts2

that said, it was HELLA fun! aimed at the wheels and ROFL can see the dirt falling off from that high pressured water spraying all over it
