SG's a glass coating - IMO, no amount of IPA will remove it off. Just perform compounding or polish and it should come off, but there's no way to tell though. Although its glass pretty much any LSP stays on it.
SG on the rims is good stuff, makes cleaning much easier and it beads a fair bit.
