The former has wax, the latter doesn't. It depends on what you're looking for.

Personally I'd pick Gold Class between those two. Using a separate wax/sealant will give better result compared to any wash & wax shampoo.

solution to dilemma? get both.

what i suggest will be UWW + UQW as weekly maintenance, gold class + Ultimate liquid wax as monthly maintenance.

if we wanna polish/wax, we will need to clay off the wax layer on the paint so no point to use UWW. normal car shampoo will do. for weekly maintenance, we need protection so UWW + UQW/ULW will do. that is my personal opinion. i dont think the UWW contain much wax in it so if you dont mind you can still use it.

if it rained and washed most of the dirt, assuming the car was previous well waxed and within a week's time or so, doing with QD should be fine as it has lubricating properties in it

there is a reason why people generally recommend QD as clay lube, no?

directly spray while it is wet is fine. better that way actually, aids in drying too

if leave overnight, whatever dirt/contaminants the rain bring will solidify on your car and it'll be even harder to get rid of it. and what muyo said earlier will be more of a concern.

I just start to pickup this hobby, no super duper detailing work that I will do, but just want a clean and shinning car, need some sifu advise if i done something not right as my wax didnt last more than 2 week, here are the thing i do:
1. rinse
2. Wash with some un branded shampoo got from hypermarket
3. Rinse
4. Clay with 3M clay bar, use the shampoo as lubricant, go through the surface genially until no more roughness is felt when the clay was rubbed over it
5. Wash
6. Rinse
7. Dry
8. Apply DG Aquwax 951 on a dry MF towel and wipe it on the surface
9. Buff after 5minutes with MF towel

My car was park outdoor all the time, and is raining almost everyday in KL. I think the shin, smoothness and water repel effect is not that good after 1 wash or 2 weeks. Is there anything I done wrong? Or I should use better shampoo?

Before this, I used to use dishwashing detergent to wash my mfs.
For protection of the paint, you can try switching to carnauba wax instead of synthetic sealant. I find that they're more resilient to water etchings but need to apply more regularly as it's not as durable as a sealant. For cleaning up the water marks, you can try the DG water spots remover, no need to 'rub', just spray on, agitate then rinse.

Yup...ACE got it, but you can find RainX just about in any big shopping mall. Just make sure it's the 'original' one with the registered trade marks printed on the label.
Yup...I get that also...especially during cold mornings.
What polish/compound you (plan) on using and on what car please?

check first page on my post and give it a try. do it once and just regular maintenance will do
it it during washer fluid spraying? if yes then you may have diluted too much rain x washer fluid additive. use more water (clean/soft/filtered water is preferred)

else, is your rain x properly cured/"buffed off"?
