QUOTE(Broadica @ Apr 17 2013, 01:08 PM) it's not meant to be more braking power than steel disc. Use it on rear with sintered pad.... Cant use front la since always take off the front rim while outstation ride and scare kena the rotor in "accident"they already make it very clear during kickstarter. its meant to have better modulation and consistent braking. with good modulation, one can better control and go faster. locking the disc will only make you skid on the trail. you trying it with sintered pad? use it on the rear... to prevent skidding .. anyway, its a interesting design, they are developing new pads specific to go with this disc |

QUOTE(dickybird @ Apr 18 2013, 11:23 AM) Hard to explain..... Once u use the carbon rotor, you will know what i mean....Currently, 50% power i press the lever, i get 75%+ for steel rotor, but only 25-40% for carbon rotor. In order to get 100% power for braking, i need press more harder the lever. Unable to skid since i use the carbon rotor for rear brake. |
