Short shifter is to shorten the gear shifting throw. Ayam not sure the 1 you shared link can adjust throw, but generally all short shifter the centre sphere are located closer to the shaft. Therefore the throw is shorten. However, there was sohighness design back in the 90's when everybody hot boiling the old GaGa, there came some funny short shifter that serve absolutely nothing but just to lower the gear knob. So, basically its no different than just saw the stick short.

There are unique example,

First, go shorten the throw


Then extend the shaft


So you drive like super touring

If Mrs.YAB duduk depan, biase I drive damn slow and smooth, seldom hit 1st gear unless stop at traffic light. Even if totally stop, will gently hit 1st gear only, no harm

Ayam aware our thread is currently running on page 117, ayam sure our pattern is towards the last few pages tend to spam super fast.
