There's no best kernel for battery life. It all depends on your usage and what you do.

But as for me, I use Franco kernel, under volt by 100mV, run with conservative governor

Bro, with conservative does it delay data apps notifications like whatsapp etc?
Any other significant changes to the usual behavior?

Nope. I received mine in real time. If you got problem with notifications use push notification fixer.

aiyoyo mine is US set, since the power charger is US pin i can plug into the wall to charge...
so charging using laptop USB...

how come the charging is so slow??
is this normal?

need to get the universal adapter to plug into wall

Using US set as well, mine charging takes two hours to charge from 25% to 100% using AC power. A universal is cheap everywhere and easy to plug into wall

Yup. Really like the phone. Charging is not slow. I always charge from notebook USB. Never have problem with battery. In fact, Nexus 4 charging is a little faster than most phone:

my previous phone, an iphone charge so much quicker....
i google about this problem and i found some other forum users having this slow charging too...
i think it takes me around 3-4hours from 5-100% charging on my laptop....
my iphone takes 1.5-2h for a full charge
