I already have Windows Media on my 360...now all im having trouble is transcode360 doesnt apppear on the programs section or any part of the 360 Media screen...tried VLC360...it appeared on screen but when play avi file it says unsupported file or file is corrupted....duh? how ah?

VLC seems to work...but transcode is not working for me.....whe i press x on the avi files there is no opt for transcode....hmmm....

k ...manage to get it working....thanks alot.....anyway it seems to show "network congested" on the tv screen every 15 seconds.Why i this happening?
WHat should i do to solve this.And eh...i hink there should be a good sticky for this...Thanks...

No...im not using wifi....Just Wired..i have disabled the wifi...

Yeh...I Think thats the problem....mine is an old P3 800Mhz with 512MB RAM....hmmmph...

Sigh...miss the xbox XBMC...when are thet gonna develope XBMC for xbox360?
The old xbox had super duper smooth flowing video streaming....i think its cos Media Center takes up a lot RAM......

Okay guys ..managed to optimize my 360 for viewing avi's...just activated the QoS o my Linksys (DD-WRT).Now its kay.....but need to disable if wanna go surfing ....but need to tweak here and there a little more...

If you got P3 PC then is the minimum req....T360 and my P3 pc- need to run the whole movie thru first then play it again so that i can watch the movie wirhouy any glitch and slowdown....P4 HT technolgy is needed for a nice on the fly encoding.

Nope...u need the current gen processors...Intel HT tech the least....to get true real time encoding to your 360...
