How does one actually estimates the pricing for an item?

Run by the saying of "One man's trash is another man's treasure". Besides general gear, you have the odd combination of stats on a gear that people want. Ask yourself. Do you see yourself using this? Would someone else use this? If your hunch is yes, then keep it. If it doesn't get sold within a specific timeframe, vendor it.

When selling, don't be ambitious. Settle. Its better to get things moving through your shop. So what if you sold it at a loss? Better to have steady revenue than a better profit margin.

And finally, when you price something. Ask yourself: What would I pay for this? What's reasonable to ME. Now you have your answers, and even if you could've made more, there's no regret behind it.

Open a thread, toss your things in. People will find them on xyz and message you. Be fair, be nice and you'll have stuff flowing often. I typically toss things into a thread, tag them with say (1~5c) and let my buyers decide what they think is alright.

I think a huge problem is that people don't want to feel "ripped off". Its okay to be ripped off. You as an individual will FIND deals and GIVE deals. Think of it as giving someone a good deal. You made that person happy maybe and you can use the currency you got on a potential deal.

The best advice I can give you is to not fret over prices. Sell for what you feel is right and things will work out for you.

Okay I am confused, what is this "gateway" thing you are talking about? Is it the one at the login screen? Mine has always been America. Played through Steam since it first came out
