feels nicer in hand than 920 because of its weight. Damn light and the design is really nice.

Wonder if it also warms up fast as 920  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

Heard that the battery is superb since the screen resolution is lower. I might consider to get 1 if I am not owner of Lumia 920
*
the battery capacity is huge. Will test today and let you know how it goes.

QUOTE(coconutxyz @ Apr 20 2013, 01:03 PM)
does it take a lot of time switching between apps(apps resuming) or when opening apps??
now i hate my 3gs being so lag when multitasking
*
umm, not much lag since its wp8.

I've been using non stop from morning. No noticeable heat.

QUOTE(weim76 @ Apr 20 2013, 02:25 PM)
How much you got it there? Is it cheaper than Malaysian price (expected to be RM999, if I am not wrong).
Too bad it wasn't available yet when I bought my L820 in January. Coz it is just nice for all my needs.
*
its around 1050.

Battery life after the first charge is not that good. Took off charging at 6.30am and phone died at 4pm. Did around 3 hours of browsing, download some apps, took some photos and videos, played game for 30mins, light Facebook and twitter. Probably needs few more charging cycles.

Good thing about the phone is almost everyone who sees it gets impressed with the phone immediately. Bad thing is out of 50 only 2 actually knew what nokia lumias are and that they use wp8. Although i did convince few to try nokia lumia. biggrin.gif

20% battery left.

they say the phone is slow at doing certain things. ie when having multiple tabs or app running. is it true?
*
who is they? 520, 620 and 720 all have the same cpu and ram. No performance difference with 920 or 820.

" but the Lumia 720 occasionally took a long time to resume apps or to transition through the animated menus of the Windows Phone UI. Some of the issues I experienced could be related to the 512MB of RAM in the handset, but It's clear that Microsoft still needs to optimize its operating system for this particular chipset, but for the vast majority of time it works as expected."

"Nothing feels slow, mind. Anything that doesn't come up instantly will present you with a loading animation, so any shortcomings of the hardware are disguised by these fluid transitions -- you don't see apps stutter into life, freeze on the screen or lag perceptively."

hmm, but previously when the 620 came out there was a thorough comparison with app opening and resuming. The 620 was faster than 920 at times. Think it might be in case of certain apps that are not properly optimised. WhatsApp still has delays opening and resuming.

how bout reading small text on it??and loading time is very long?
*
reading small text not so suitable, cause of the screen resolution. loading time if you're indicating the lack of ram, not so. no difference i've seen with other 1gb ram devices.

Pictures taken with 720 for those who asked. Sorry i'm really not good with pics. biggrin.gif

if performance for this Lumia 720 compare to some android around that same price range...which one fares better??
*
That definitely the 720, i'm not being biased here. the transition, fluidity all much better than similar spec android phones. android lags and stutters at times :/
