this is a white model. picture taken with my 820

lol. I mean pictures taken by the Lumia 720. Not pictures of 720.

Just bought myself a Lumia 720...

Anyway, how to transfer file from PC to the phone ? @@

I tried use the desktop app & transfer via file explorer ..but
I unable to copy any file to it at all..

For desktop app i get some problem:

when you plug in the phone. they will prompt you to download an app.
install the app and use tat app to browse your phone

what app? they dint prompt any....got link to it? @@"

Download for window or the phone?

Add on: Also does the charging icon static or keep blinking one when charging?

Mine like charge icon...battery icon..charge icon....battery icon...wut?

Addon more info about the problem:

This is what i saw after pluged into PC @@"

try this:

1) go to control panel
2) open hardward & sound
3) open devices & printers
4) look for windows phone
5) double click your phone to see if you can browse your phone from ther

6) or double click on the phone to troubleshoot (it might prompt you to install the driver)

OR ultimately, if all else mentioned failed

click download now... to download the app.

its actually not a standalone app. but more of a driver. which is integrated into windows explorer

I heard only Windows 7 or Win 8 PC can link to WP8 phone directly through USB. What Win version are you using?

he is using lumia 720 la. of course windows phone 8 lo.

windows 7 or 7.5 still need a standalone app - Zune to sync

windows 8 needs a integrated app or driver like app that integrates directly with windows explorer.

I am referring to PC, dude.... not WP....
If he's using Win XP on his PC, he may not be able to link.

Seem like i able to view the phone folder after i uninstall the desktop+metro app....

Is cause by the sdcard...
after i format it and i able to view the thing already :3

not necessary.
cant even count out 5 apps which is so memory intensive that it cant be used.

its not like windows phone have a lot of high end games to play (which is free)

though, the ram is NOT FUTURE PROOF.

they said, if the apps require >512Mb ram, the apps wont even pop out in the store. Eg. Searching for Temple Run will result in nothing.

Knowing the fact that i cant play high end games is quite sad. Eventho im not the type who plays phone games, i do love trying. Try for 2-3 runs, then uninstall.

Put aside gaming, im scared that L720 will have lack of decent usable apps(camera apps or wtv) in the future. Plus, if some updates are unable to install worries me. :\

Btw, Yellow colour out yet? wanna buy ASAP!
