And as for saying that, I am bored with Call of Duty now. How's the game like? Better?

Here's my verdict:

CoD:BlOps2 killa!? * joo high?!


From Single Player POV:
Crytek's forte have always been pushing graphics to the max at the expense of gameplay.


Granted CoD series never pushes for graphic, but you have to give them credit for hiding all the inefficiencies (locked pathing, strict scripting etc.) to make thier game run @ 60hz and also look sorta good.


Crysis 3 is shit on the console. Muddy textures, >30fps, constant pop-ins. The open environment with swaying grass sure looks great, but the moment a battle heats up the frame rate takes a further dip.
(I am no PC elitist, but just goes to show how bad we need new console, if a FPS can't maintain a constant framerate it is a put off for me imo)


Gameplay wise it still falls back into the same trap of Crysis2. It is fun as heck pretending to be the Predator cloaking around and stabbing people. But once you realize that the enemy respawns and you have been doing it for more than 3 hours, you would just properly put cloack on and sneak past everybody.


Length wise the campaign is CoD long. Unless you go for collectables (there's is a detective vision mode where you scan & tag everything) you properly won't be playing the campaign again.



TLDR version:
Go rent from Seiluen.
Save money for March'13 game release.

i played the pc version....

the graphic is just mind blowing even at "high" setting( "very high" is the highest setting)....

after comparing with trailers from ps4 event....crysis 3 is close or
already next gen quality.

gameplay wise same with crysis 2.

Is it THAT bad on consoles? Well PC, I think we've got a winner here. Graphics card and 8GB of RAM,..it is Crytek after all.

So,no go on Consoles and yes for PC? If it is like that,then I shall remember to modify my computer again..

the biggest difference between pc and console is the fps....only COD series games are 60 fps on consoles...others mostly at 30 fps.

i don't mind 30 fps if the game is 3rd person person view...but if
first person shooter with 30 fps i'll get dizzy when looking right and left because the graphic will become blurry and lag.

heck..

If you ask me, personally, it is not worth the full price of admission.

I didn't know that..No wonder Call of Duty series look THAT GOOD even on a small screen.

Meaning? It is actually cheaper on the PC....To think about it..Origin gave me problems back then..

But Crysis 3 looks really good on the PC.

Crysis 3 on console has terrible matchmaking issue, i often matched to peopel from the stats or European .
