I used to just throw some common salt in my garden. Small garden so no problem. You need to sprinkle every 2-3 weeks. It worked.
Or get a dog.

my problem with jiran cat (30 cats) solve after built this. Not finish yet, net to repaint.

Hahaha i used garam halus. But I do not think that is an issue. Maybe the cats in ur area Low BP so they need teh salt to increase their blood pressure.
It solved my problem. However now i have a dog so no more prob

Only had a few cat problems. We sometimes scare them with the "pop-Pop" you can buy during chinese new year.

So far no more poop in the garden (we used to have one every day).

Use Stray Dogs to chase away the Stray cats...then call MPPJ/DBKL to chase away the stray dogs. Hehe.

yes..my jiran right side is having the cats (a lot 30 cats)..and he is not sensitif jiran and he is also arrogant cannot discuss at all...cannot touch his border or land...i have put net on that side and not so cantik...that why the other side i put like this..cantik a bit compare with net. The other side of my house is abandon house...with the configuration..i solve my problem with cat and burglar..cause burglar had once climb the fence and steal my wire etc thing outside.

There several way to deter cat, I too take extreme measurement to deter cat away else I can't sleep at night when they in heat.

1) Use tiger poo, no small creature will venture to your house proximity.
2) Sprinkle cinnamon on places that cat normally sleep.

Non-humane way to the cat owner
1) Civet cage to lure them and throw them far far
2) Hire Vietnamese worker - end of all your stray animal problem at once.

cinnamon may not work. My house have neighbor with cats and they let the cats run here and there, always pee at my door grill and wall. Dam stink. I try cinnamon before still useless. Now trying lemon skin.

My neighbour already shifted but wanted to keep the 10 (and multiplying) stray cats so came back often to feed them. We tried to shoo the stray cats by spraying water but the cats are back with vengeance - poo poo right in front of our door many times.

The main problem is from the irresponsibility owner who don't care their pets. And those who think pity/good heard to feed them. If you want to feed them or own the pets, you have to takecare of everything. From food till shit. You don't cause your neighbour trouble.

It is just like a baby till child. You care to feed them. But don't care to educate your child.

My oversea friend told me, when he see some neighbour walk their dog and let it shit around which is very common here, he will pickup the poo, walkover to the house and throw it back to them. I salute him.

The best way is get a cage, trap them and send it to any pets home. Or drive 100km and release it. This are stray animal. Capable to adapt any environment.
