agree too, the main purpose of the jailbreak or unlock is to give full access on dev apps not gain advantages on crack apps. i have spend almost 1k apps bought even though i have unlock jailbreak.

i don't really mind about the fireware update as long the current firmware work without issues, there is no point go for previous small fix then appear another major bugs issues

with these small firmware fix, all those 3rd apps dev are not going to scratching their head & spend time to cope with these minor fix. unless there is massive Firmware update.

why dont you just download then put under Old Photos drag into picture, better than copy back into camera roll and yes, it will still upload to skydrive.

i usually have more than 3location of my backup files
1. PC
2. Skydrive 50GB - i only sync & store all important data & photos (just in case i lost my phone the photos still available)
3. Portable HDD

that's the best part about Windows phone tiles cause we all carry different tile , different color.. etc, unlike any others share the same UI and boring square round whatever icons

im kindda agree with lipfung, the heating on L920 is total unacceptable. if compare with other windows phone that running 7.5 or 7.8 not even can feel the heat that rise faster than 920.

with my previous smartphone i can 24/7 on my Data connection and during day time i can even on all my data/bluetooth/wifi. now, i have to practice switching OFF my phone if the temperature rise above the abnormal level for 5min , and switch off data & goes to flight mode before i go to bed.

look like L920 ain't smartphone , because have to be extra careful not to toast the radio like i did earlier.

1. warranty will not void.

2. data (photos/songs/video) - plugin to your Desktop then backup, contact will sync to your live account.

in and out my L920 have visit NC twice, only the third time when i voice out to their top level then they wiling to replacement mainboard and waited for 1month

yeah, the heat kindda scared me away for getting the wireless charger. try to imaging after charged

CPU/Radio heat + center of the body heat up during charging... after done charging its like holding a toasted bread

i toasted my unit before, so just have to be extra careful.
