Why trinity kernel not much of update for maguro? Didn't try trinity for a long time... Wanted 1.5GHz 307MHz GPU version doh.gif

Now having Air, Franco, Lean and Stock kernel in my internal storage. Which one should I flash to pair with Orca Project ROM? hmm.gif

I'm now on Orca Project 0227 ROM.

First thing that wowed me... The boot up speed.

Not sure is caused by new TWRP (didn't update since 2.3.2.1) or the ROM itself. Using the ROM with default kernel.

Then I explored the settings. This ROM implemented AOKP Settings and Xpose Settings (like PA per app settings).

On top of these settings, the dev added what's not there in AOKP Settings like lockscreen shortcut ring, DPI changer etc.

Battery life is also quite good for now with default kernel that comes with the ROM.

Let's see how it goes tomorrow brows.gif

Hi, I am new owner of Nexus =D
Really love this phone very much due to the smoothness of the rom, probably the best android phone I ever use.
Just bought this last month, barely have chance to use. = ="
I have been warranty this phone for 3 times in a month due to screen issue (image retain(1st), yellow tint problem(2nd), color balance(3rd)).

Sifu-sifu here can you guys share your experience how to increase the max volume of this device? I find out the max volume on stock rom 4.1.1 yakjuxw is very soft, sometime is unhearable when I am far away from phone. I don't want to flash custom rom, any solution to fix the low volume problem with apps?? I have tried few apps like Volume+ but it have bug on jelly bean. It only boost the sound when u play music but not your ringtones/notification sound. Any idea how to solve this problem?

No choice. Custom rom to solve your problem.

Gnex is easy to flash custom rom. Use Galaxy Nexus ToolKit. Read the instruction and u good to go.

PA update again,  28-Feb.
*
PA 3.10 quote:
Status update 28Feb

Two small breakthroughs actually,

1. Notifications in our Pie panels can finally be expanded, they react like you'd expect. It was an obvious flaw, but as we have said before, these panels are actually written from scratch. Pie is a self-contained UI and part of the android statusbarmanager (SystemUI), all features had to be re-implemented piece by piece. whats still missing is a /// button but thats peanuts.

2. Hybrid properties can finally be stored on the SD card. A lot is coming in that regard but since so many of us are currently very busy we better keep still.

Minor tweaks,
New bionic updates,
Dashclock hides lockscreen clock (kang from kufikugel)

Maguro (gsm galaxy nexus), todays build does not require you to flash a custom kernel

IMPORTANT
Your old property backups will not be recognized anymore. But they are safe, just copy them from /data/user/0/com.paranoid.preferences/files/backup -> /sdcard/Android/com.paranoid.preferences/files/backup
