If you like, you can also edit your album names to indicate which are ALAC. For example: "The Dark Side Of The Moon (ALAC)". It's an easy fix.
EDIT: joshuachew's answer is correct - I thought you meant how to identify which album is ALAC when you're scrolling through your playlist when using your iPod.
eventho it is correct, but it is not possible to right click every file to check.
see, when you plug in you iPod, and open iTunes, and from iTunes, when you want to sync music, you will select from the lists based on categories: artist, album, genre etc.. and you will tick which one you want to sync into the iPod.. but from the list, how can differentiate which one is ALAC file?
i figured out a method just now, put all the ALAC files into one playlist, then sync the playlist into iPod.. but for now, its ok because i have little ALAC files collection only, and by putting all the ALAC files into 1 playlist, the size did not exceed my ipod capacity (8gb). but by times, if i have more ALAC files, i may want to select between them to fit into my iPod..
ermmm i guess have to rename all ALAC file by putting (ALAC) in the names?
