128 system RAM + 128 VRAM... don't see cards with full 256 dedicated VRAM yet... do a search for it on google. if it says hypermemory... then tat's it. it's shared.

let say if it ATI Radeon X1300 128 Hypermemory
is it gonna share with the system memory of 128?
and the same goes to ATI Radeon X1400 256 Hypermemory right?

usually if it's 256MB ati xxxx hypermemory, it means 128 is dedicated VRAM, the other 128 is shared as required... so if it's a 128MB ati xxxx hypermemory, it's 64/64 each way. so a 256MB config is better, since 128 VRAM is minimum standard nowadays. there are some exceptions though, the acer 5562 is one, with 128 VRAM, 384 shard RAM = 512MB... at least they tell you.. else everyone will think it's 256MB VRAM tongue.gif nice....

Plz notice DELL NB got Inspiron & Latitude model.

Inspiron goes w lowest price while Latitude easily 1K extra.

The quality between two model are much different.

I'll vote Acer 55xx series.
