Hi,

Am going to attempt this but now I'm confused... is this true? So the changes are not really permanent?

Instead of fiddling with TM’s fiber router, can we just use a normal router compatible with Unifi/Maxis from TP-Link or D-Link or whatever and then just plug-in a normal VoIP SIP phone to it?
