one more thing. can also ask someone to drive the car. If its not inline with the front, means that there is something fishy. Summore if u can look under carriage front part. Can see got any dents. Back doors try to slam it slightly on every side. If 1 got some funny sound, sure ever kena hit. But sometime, previous owner would likely change the parts *if its easy to find at kedai potong* chasis cannot be changed. So its better to check chassis also. Above rubber seal at the front door see if ever kena potong or not the roof. Side of the car front and back *this is very potential to get damaged if knocked and when u knock it, because its the side angle, it will sound so padat so its hard to determine. For me, i feel it. Putty dented areas always has that small gap. Use any sensitive part of skin on ur hand to touch it. For engine, if u can test drive the car, try to rev it when u test drive. After a while when the engine heats up, if there is white smoke comming out from the exhaust, the engine needs to replace seals, gaskets. Ive had 2 times experiance purchasing 2nd hand cars with problems.

You can send the car to Puspakom for inspection. They will give you a report on the car condition. When you transfer the car to your name, you need to submit the Puspakom report to JPJ.

Mostly puspakom will check the chasis number, side slip, brakes, car window transparency. I ever send my car to puspakom before purchase, they dont check the rest. I drove the car all the way to puspakom. I thought it will fail cuz of the loud exhaust, no horn. In d end. Only 4 or 5 test. the rest they just close one eye. Not using runner.
