Bro nehalem176, i humbly request for your help regarding my battery stats. i recently full wipe my phone including the internal memory the after a few days i've noticed that my phone is always awake. I usually charge my phone full at night and before i went to sleep i unplugged the charger. I've installed deep sleep battery saver but set the night mode but the phone is still awake

QUOTE(Positron @ Feb 27 2013, 01:36 PM) That is what happened to me a few days back. but i just did a factory reset 2 days ago I thought it was due to some corrupted files in the sd card. So I reformat my sd card, but the media server problem did not fade away. I took the last resort to full factory reset my phone, and it worked, no more wakelocks due to media server. I would conclude that the media server is due to some apps. Correct me if I am wrong. |

First reboot your phone. idle around 4 hours, and monitor whether this wakelock trigger again. If yes then try to delete possible thumbnails folder such in sdcard and extsdcard DCIM/.thumbnails then delete cache for your gallery related apps. Use storage analyzer app to easily identify unwanted data/folder AudioOut_2 (1013): 3 h 57 m 33 s (14253 s) Count:18 45.6% To minimize this wakelock, disable touch sound, keytone and unlock sound. In addition, Viber also contribute unwanted count to this wakelock. BBS thread, claim need to check 'use system sound' but other member here claim to uncheck and leave it default. My opinion, uninstall it. I don't use viber, too much wakelock and wakeup. •Your alarm wake up need to be reduce: com.google.android.apps.maps (): Wakeups: 812 Alarms: 4, Intent: com.google.android.apps.maps.nlp.ALARM_WAKEUP_PASSIVE_COLLECTOR Alarms: 2, Intent: com.google.android.apps.maps.nlp.ALARM_WAKEUP_ACTIVE_COLLECTOR Alarms: 553, Intent: com.google.android.apps.maps.nlp.ALARM_WAKEUP_LOCATOR Alarms: 213, Intent: com.google.android.apps.maps.nlp.ALARM_WAKEUP_ACTIVITY_DETECTION Alarms: 3, Intent: com.google.android.apps.maps.nlp.ALARM_WAKEUP_BURST_COLLECTION_TRIGGER Alarms: 2, Intent: com.google.android.apps.maps.nlp.ALARM_WAKEUP_CACHE_UPDATER com.google.android.gsf (): Wakeups: 148 Alarms: 78, Intent: com.google.android.intent.action.GTALK_RECONNECT Alarms: 8, Intent: com.google.android.intent.action.SEND_IDLE com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox (): Wakeups: 91 Alarms: 21, Intent: com.google.android.apps.sidekick.REFRESH Alarms: 43, Intent: com.google.android.apps.sidekick.calendar.CalendarIntentService.UPDATE_CALENDAR_ACTION com.onavo.android.onavoid (): Wakeups: 72 Alarms: 11998, Intent: LiveUsageTransitionAction com.viber.voip (): Wakeups: 66 Alarms: 66, Intent: com.viber.voip.action.KEEP_ALIVE_RECEIVE 1. guys, need to ask something here. By default the airview setting for the spen is on right?
My aunt was offered a note 2 by his friend for rm1350 which is said to be take from malaysian custom. her friend husband has a friend who is working with custom and said this is from "rampasan" of smuggled unit one. Pretty common tactics for selling imitation phone right? So I asked her to check thoroughly the phone and test the Spen function as clone phone usually don't have that, i've also mention that she should test the airview feature becasue manalatau the clone phone already got so advance that they can imitate the spen |

QUOTE(aremeerul81 @ Mar 1 2013, 11:27 AM) good to hear that QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 1 2013, 11:30 AM) Imitation's home button and original home button ada sikit perbezaan. I don't think she'll notice that. I've been explaining what is spen to her for half and hour because i think that is the easiest way to identify fake phone. The gap between the button and screen is smaller for original unit. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Mar 1 2013, 12:41 PM) Share whether your aunt got the real deal or not? Then again, if it's a seized customs unit, you won't be getting any warranty I presume. will update here whether she bought or not or the unit is fake or notCustom = adat Customs = adat-istiadat or Kastam (which in your case here is Kastam) Royal Customs & Excise = Kastam dan Eksais DiRaja *thanks for correcting me. was really confused with the spelling. lol QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Mar 1 2013, 12:51 PM) 1350 for a custom unit? Crazily over priced even if it's real. No warranty for such phones and bear in mind, parts for note2 is not cheap aiyoh This post has been edited by kira_88: Mar 1 2013, 01:03 PM |

QUOTE(Positron @ Mar 1 2013, 01:04 PM) Well its very easy to check whether that set is a rampasan set.. thank you! I did go and check my imei and it shows all the details of my phone.Or smuggled set so to speak.. Just google IMEI number checker. I tried on my SME Note 2, no problem, its in the database. I even checked my AP S2, since its original too, its still in the database. However here is the catch, when I entered a smuggled IMEI number for the note 2. Here is what I got in the picture below... Hope it helps.. here the link for the website imei checker |

QUOTE(sultan.sulu @ Mar 1 2013, 01:46 PM) not frequent, but when i need to jot down something real quick and no pen or paper are in sight, using the spen is quite nice. others are more to self preference i think, ive been using samsung galaxy for quite sometimes so i've already acquainted with samsung touchwiz ui rather than htc sense ui.btw tuanku can you drop your claim on sabah and ask your brother to go back?
