Yes, 100% not SME set so it's warranty is not covered by Samsung Malaysia, only by the shop that you bought from. That's called AP set.

It is AP set, nowhere to check. As long it is warranty by the shop that you bought.

Or you can support SME set warranty by Samsung Malaysia rclxms.gif

There is a possibility also since they can always put their own warranty seal and I am sure 70-80% of the consumers will not check for the SIRIM stickers when they buy a phone actually. laugh.gif

Referring to newspaper, they claimed that few people were caught for buying the stolen phones.

They can trace.

from news it seems like if we bought stolen goods, we will be fined and the money we use to buy the phone will not be refunded. so have to be really carefull when buy phone, to avoid stolen goods... buy a titanium grey colour or buy from original shop. cheers

it depend if anyone will raised it, imei and location can be collected. jus tif they want to do it or not.
Even now u said your phone stolen and report to police, the telco will say, this is not their policy.

But u dont know what has been tampered with for the stolen item, like additional application installed to get your keystoke and go to your bank.. sad.gif

Stolen unit certainly can't go for Samsung Warranty else in big trouble. sweat.gif

You can check your product serial numbers, Phone IMEI numbers at www.curi.my

You will get an instant reply to confirm if the product has been reported "LOST" or "STOLEN".

You can also "BLACKLIST" the phone imei number or product serial numbers as a lost or stolen product so that anyone who finds it cannot sell it but can contact you via the online messaging system to return the product back to you.

This is a FREE service for all Malaysian's.
