not sure if i found a bug with the latest firmware or something is wrong somewhere...

i usually put some notification tones in my extsdcard/media/audio/notifications and set some of my notifications sounds pointing to the files in that folder.

after the DMB2 update and now DMB4, it seems that everytime i reboot the phone, the settings will be gone and i have to manually set it again.

does anyone have the same issue or is it just me?
*
I always put in internal sd but so far no issue. Maybe u need a factory reset. This sound like those little weird issue if you upgrade rom without wiping. tongue.gif

Like now my default keyboard always reset to the Samsung one everytime i reboot. Had this after flashing 7-9 roms without wiping. LOL laugh.gif

nope, no mounting or dismounting frequently.

right now my workaround is to put those files in internal memory.

funny thing is, it only happens to notifications. incoming call ringtones not affected...

joytest suggest to add flipfont collection thread in first page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1949854

Nowadays very strange place we are living..
Seller wanna sell fake note 2, meanwhile buyer bought genuine note 2 but using fake cash(quoted by Bennys post)
Anyway I love this live wallpaper, the speakers vibrate in synchrony of your music playing on the background.. its so awesome..
*
If not mistaken, the live wallpaper only work while stock music player is playing song.

Ya, will look into it. Looks interesting by looking at the huge fan base. laugh.gif
However, I really like 4.2 apps icons. Emotion Note and Hawkish spoilt me with those icons.
If Omega has those or I can do my own customization for the icons, I will consider trying it. biggrin.gif

Aint sure bout that becoz I am not into theming. My preference are always stability smoothness and battery friendly. Simple theming ok for me. Like simplistic framework. Worth the donation to dev.

Until today I'm still unsure how simplistic framework works. sweat.gif
Fortunately for me, both Emotion Note and Hawkish offer me good user's experience and with absolutely great battery life. Well, have to be fair, part of the reason for the good battery life is because of RedPill kernel. biggrin.gif

we might get a leak around march(like I predicted quite a while ago tongue.gif) and maybe an official update around May. But since 4.2 isn't really different than 4.1, we might even get it earlier;mid April would be the fastest I think.

Oh yes, next android version will be out on May, so the waiting will start again then laugh.gif

They are gonna be adding WiFi hotspot to the notification panel with the 4.2 update rclxm9.gif that's the only toggle missing for me. I guess they really have people reading XDA forum to see what people want lol

Yes, not much updates but at least the fancy icons (that's for me. tongue.gif)
Until today I haven't used the WiFi hotspot feature simply because DiGi is not worth to be shared. laugh.gif

I guess there's a reason why they've been giving the same updates to us for a long time. Most probably after releasing the "batt drain fix" 4.1.2, they have started on 4.2.and to make sure people don't start shouting, they just re-release the same damn thing to make everyone keep quiet tongue.gif

To be honest, you can have all the fancy icings on the cake but if your battery life sucks, it basically shoos away the users... Nobody wants to use a smartphone with crappy battery life. (No offence to iPhone users. sweat.gif)

My cousin is using Nexus 4 and the most recent update does fix the battery life issue. So, I hope Samsung could pick up the same thing and do something to Note II's battery life. Coming from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2, while I love all the updates 4.1.2 give, I must admit the battery life somehow gets shortened compared to 4.1.1. Still, with all the extra features of 4.1.2, they do compensate the loss of that little battery life. My personal opinion la. biggrin.gif

Again, with more users like tot31, I believe Samsung will stop concentrating on their battery life issue. laugh.gif

yeah 4.2.2 fixes the crazy batt drain that plagued almost every nexus 4 users. Would be nice to see batt life comparable to 4.1.1 with the update, although for me at least, Im getting the same SOT with 4.1.1 even on DLL7 which is considered as the batt drain firmware tongue.gif but idle batt life is much more worse....

Would be nice to get an average of 8 hours SOT and good idle batt with 4.2.2 biggrin.gif( average about 7 hrs SOT now)
