some say that this was due to the charging circuit malfunctioning thus not stopping the "over-charging" phenomena..

anyways, i was trying to flash the newer TWRP 2.4.2.0 over my current 2.4.1.0

i tried to use MOP and the screen got stuck at the rebooting phone into recovery status. i then shut the phone down and rebooted into recovery (3 button combo)... it went to MOP screen showing flashing recovery, wiping cache and dalvik then rebooted..

then, everything became stock. lost all my apps except the stock one on dualnote

oh my, i read in the comments that using goo manager is a mistake but now my dumber MOP is a larger mistake. my phone is officially living 3-4 days back in time instead of now

another quickie question, does having n amount of fonts (remnants of the previous AllianceROM) cause device slowdown? when (and only when) i load the settings page for the fonts selection, it takes about 20-30s for it to fully load up

anyways, some say that the google settings might not be wise to be removed (i am so very tempted)

I was on it for about only 2-3 days
i believe you need to just factory reset before moving ROMs, just in case.

make sure you do a nandroid back up + TB back up beforehand, just in case.

wipe cache, wipe dalvik too!

AllianceROM = TW based i think so its better to do full wipe

i believe so.
just afraid if just doing typical wipes, there would be negative impact from the different TW and AOSP frameworks

ROMOW and Alliance are both TW based, if you can flash one meaning there isn't much problem then (did you check for gibberish messed up apps that FC? if no then u are safe)

between roms, sometimes i do full wipe too. you can't be too safe ^___^

means from my experience:
1. contacts : all numbers and no names
solution : export to sd card, delete all, restore back the .vcf file
2. waze : unable to load gps and/or network connection and/or stuck at loading screen
solution : reinstall
3. facebook (and maybe other apps, i only use 30 odd apps) : forced close or FC
solution : reinstall from Google Play. i tried to restore from TBPro but error (i don't know why)

just noticed soemthing from GCC

when battery low = charging is at 1,800 using stock everything
when battery 100% = charging is at 1,300
