thanks for the tests, at least now i know my old shit i7 still fine if I get GTX780 with it.
*
That's what i thought after i tested all. And also another thing, pcie 2.0 vs pcie 3.0, it's nothing for now, just like no difference at all, someone advised me before if pcie 2.0 actually still underutilize, and it's true.

Same with Nvidia's reference cooler, but the Evga one definitely performs better, especially on load.

So have you sold off your GTX 690 already? biggrin.gif

GPU clocking has changed. not sure on 680 but shld be the same with 770

its pairing of fixed incremental clock generator with fixed vids.

u just up the table of the clocks to the vids.

for titan and 780 it will never be a temp issue. its always a tdp at 106 issue.
*
TDP you mean the power target? Use mod bios can increase the power target, done that to my GTX 670 and GTX 690.

Asus I not sure, but MSI quite fast already, they told me 3 weeks for RMA. this is why i prefer local seller.
now not sure the price, i worry the price here will up a bit like GTX780, end up you have to add RM200 to 300 more.
*
My friend sent his few weeks old MSI GTX 670 PE for RMA (always crashed on Heaven, posted earlier about this here), the guy told him 3 to 6 weeks, and it is the 4th week already and no news smile.gif

IF, only IF GTX 770 are cheaper than GTX 680, the one who will get the consequences is used GTX 670, GTX 680 and HD 7970 user. Ho3... But used HD 7970 way cheaper than used GTX 680. I think some of GTX 680 user that open WTS thread need to revised their price later. Including me, GTX 670. doh.gif

And still no news regarding MY price for GTX 770. sweat.gif

Someone is selling Palit GTX 670 used for RM850 shipped laugh.gif

ic, I have problem with my MSI board last time, they sent me the board and then i sent back the problem board within 2 days, so i know some MSI contacts, regarding your friend MSI VGA card, is better ask him to contact the MSI directly, cause i have problem before with my HIS card sent for RMA the seller actually didn't send the card to HIS side, so end up i waiting 3 months.
that for sure, already many previews out liao, you can check it up.
maybe, or same price. but 1 for sure the GTX680 will do price cut.

He bought from and sent back to Viewnet

ok will re-think and take your comments into re-consideration.

is 500W power supply enough for 700 series and 800 series ?
*
Definitely not enough, that's why I am more concern about your PSU rather than your proc bottlenecking the card. Btw what are your current PC full spec?

any chance GTX 670 drop to RM800 esp Leadtek tongue.gif

i agree for the current game the high end card is not much needed unless u love to play in high res and ultra settings with AA and AAF MAX.

i'm a happy 670 user here. leadtek brand tongue.gif]
if 670 price goes down. i would do 670 SLI
*
Nothing is impossible, maybe wait another 3 to 4 years?

lol i'm joking, seriously I saw Palit GTX 670 in garage sales for RM850 shipped

It looks awesome and all, but once you installed it, you can't see much also (personal experience) unless your casing is somekind like the mini ITX bitfenix where the mobo lay down and the GC stand facing the side window. I would definitely go for the ACX cooling design.

True. Even with my windowed, I can't see much of GPU, but those LEDs....... drool.gif
*
The LED was the initial reason I bought the GTX 690 lol, but after sometimes, sigh like nothing special, and at night it was too bright, lucky now EVGA came out with the LED controller, I reduced the dim level.

That is still one cool looking rig. Btw, if I'm not planning to upgrade above 1080p anytime soon, would it still be worth it to get the 4Gb GTX770s? Or Should I just get the 2Gb versions?
*
I guess it depends on the price difference between the two

If really different RM300 or below, and you plan to use the card for more than a year, I would go for the 4GB
